All of us who care about the direction America is headed tuned in last Thursday night to watch California Governor Gavin Newsome and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis debate the critical issues of our times.

One is the de facto leader of a "blue state" agenda. His detractors say is a poster child for Americans who prefer Socialism over Capitalism.

One is the de facto leader of a "red state" agenda. His detractors claim he is a racist and a facist who hates all things Disney.

Whether or not we like either one of them, in 2024 America we will be forced to pick a color.

The news that Jimmy Buffet had passed away at the age of 76, succumbing to Melanoma (skin cancer), came in on the Friday before the Labor Day weekend 2023.

His song 'Come Monday' was about the Labor Day weekend and his desire to keep his summer romance going.

I always interpreted the song being about the fragile transitions of summer to fall, childhood to adulthood.
Hearing of his death got me reminiscing on the Labor Days of my youth.

Last Thursday night (March 16, 2023), the newest wave of power brokers in the New York State Democratic Party had a quiet and rather secretive soiree at Cleo's in uptown Kingston.

Based on the players in attendance, one could assume it was an elite fund raiser to help bolster their newly elected ultra progressive pols.Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, Congressman Pat Ryan, and Assembly Woman Sarahana Shrestha were on hand to take their bows and collect their cash.

To be clear, as an old political hack around here used to repeat at nausea, leadership represents:
1. A green new world order.
2. Defunding the police
3. Open borders.
4. Bigger government.
5. Censorship of dissenting opinions.
6. Free Health Care For Illegal Immigrants

Monday, America celebrated its 246th birthday. On July 4th, 2012 70% of Americans polled thought the United States was a great country headed in the right direction. Ten years later only 39% of Americans believe the future is bright for the United States. It is easy to understand this dramatic switch Americans made in how they feel about their institutions and their government.

Why have people soured so much about America?: high inflation, crisis at the border, an exposed crumbling public educational system, turning our back as China has its way with us, a puppet President, dramatic increases in murder and crime in our major cities, a neglected middle class, war in the Ukraine, impending WW III, a government filled with really old elitists fat cat as****es. For these reasons and more we lost faith in our institutions, and especially the main stream media.They continue to demonstrate that they can't be trusted.

The goals of this administration were summed up this weekend by Brian Deese, senior Biden policy advisor: " Americans need to suck it up and stop complaining about gas prices. For the United States to get to our GOAL of a New Liberal World Order we

Since 2000 0ver 500 school age kids have been slaughtered in approximately 400 incidents involving active shooters. The Jankowski governance board will advise social media outlets on what is disinformation and make recommendations as to who should be banned.

The ideologues of the left are now panicked that they have lost control of the false narratives they have spewed for years.
The evidence is in that the "deep state" (both republican and democratic) in our government is desperate to control the false narratives they have been pedaling for years. Elon Musk and his quest to to take control of Twitter may turn out to be the most significant story of the 21st Century.

Twitter had become the place where Americans held their political discourse the past several years. This was especially true when Donald Trump was President and tweeted what was on his mind most everyday.

Musk has offered the Twitter Board of Directors more than fair market price to buy Twitter (44 billion dollars). Musk claims his motivation to buy Twitter is to protect the foundation of American's freedom to speak, and to protect the rights given to us in the first amendment.

The Twitter Board and the Lame Stream media are working hard to position Musk as some kind of interloper in their desire to completely control our country's political narrative.

Whether or not Musk's purchase happens or not Twitter's days of being strictly a voice for a far left radical progressive agenda are over.

Musk has shed the light on Twitter "playing God" determining who is banned and what is disinformation.

Ask yourself: Why is Twitter considering passing up this profitable transaction for their stockholders? A deal that can only help any litigation against them that comes down the pike. In terms of the future of America, of all the battles that we are currently fighting I think this one may be the most important of them all.

Who would have thought the creator of the electric car might be the one who rescues us from the repressive mission of Twitter, LSM, and our incompetent leadership.

Inflation is at its' highest since 1983 (7.5%). Gas is costing me $4.34 a gallon. In the past week I incurred two flat tires from numerous deep potholes that haven't been fixed in years. Our major cities are experiencing the highest murder rates in our countries history. We are in the midst of a cold Civil War as Russia and China move on us. What to do?

A former President is currently banned from several avenues of social media without being convicted of anything. The nation's most popular Podcast host, Joe Rogan, and 'The View's' Whoopi Goldberg came under attack last week for controversial conversations (claims of misinformation). No, you cannot scream "Fire" in a crowded theater, but other than that there should be zero limits on Americans discussing and debating whatever they choose. Our government is complicit with China and a world order that wants to shut you up if you don't tow the company line. How long are we going to keep going along to get along? It is past time to raise your voice.

Trump made a mistake in not firing him at the beginning of the Pandemic. In my opinion if you asked Trump he would say not firing Fauci was his biggest mistake as President. In my opinion Fauci is a pawn of China. It is time for the old teacher to give this 40 year hack (Fauci) his grades and show him the door.

The truth is we can no longer trust the facts that are presented to us by our main stream media. The Kyle Rittenhouse case will be a major disgraceful symbol in American history books of how news institutions lost their way. The media seems content to throw journalistic ethics out the window. Their lies are widening an already huge gap between our citizens. It may be too late, but it is time the media introduce themselves to the truth.

On August 25, 2020 Kyle Rittenhouse killed two people, and wounded another, on the streets of Kenosha Wisconsin amid the protests and looting in reaction to the George Floyd case. Did Rittenhouse do these shootings with the intent of murdering people, or was he simply defending his life. A Wisconsin jury of his peers will come down with a decision this week. Hopefully, whichever way the jury decides to go America will accept the verdict and our judicial process with restraint.

The News According to Me......One take. Unedited. America has many crises staring her in the face. Immigrants are being randomly dropped in U.S. cities undocumented, unvetted, and un vaccinated. Inflation is soaring and it is only the beginning. A badly needed infrastructure plan is stalled by political greed. Division and hatred amongst our citizens is at an all time high since the days of the American Civil War. Still, no matter how hard our government attempts to threaten the "American Dream" I believe that vision of climbing the latter of opportunity, although shrunken, remains alive. But we are running out of time. No joke.
