I LOVE EL-- RUFA' I FOR HIS DARING AND EXPERIMENTAL TENDENCIES.
EL-- RUFA' I most of his life worked in Private sector and most recently in the Public sector as a Minister of the Federal Republic and then as State Governor.It.is my believe that his courage and the challenges he experiences in these two sectors made him so daring in his approach to issues.
He saw that all forms sentiments have cropped into public service including religious sentiment at the expense of competency . What will make a seasoned Public servant to look for " religion " instead of competency in a matter that has to do with the lives of the public ? Can such a person do the same when boarding a commercial vehicle? El - Rufa' I broke the jinx by introducing Muslim-- Muslim ticket and it is working in Kaduna and in the National Assembly. No one should complain in case of the emergence of Christian-- Christian .The lesson here is clear COMPETENCY AND NOT SENTIMENT.
TODAY he has declared Friday public holiday and it has become an issue. Why should it be?Muslims tolerated Sunday as public holiday for long ,why should Friday be an issue for God sake? I was expecting commentators to tell EL-- Rufa' I that declaring Friday public holiday will amount to waste of Millions of "Man hours" thus ,counter productive .Alas! the shout is not about the what Kaduna will miss in terms of man hours but religion, as if Muslims in this country are foreigners.
While I say Kudos to EL-- Rufa' I for changing the narratives for people to reason that we are one and equal, he should know that loosing millions of man hours is counter productive. He should fine a way of recovering the lost man hours either by increasing the other days' work by two hours or declare Saturday a work day.

VERY SHOCKING AND PATHETIC! THE CASE OF DCP ABBA KYARI.
1, INTELLIGENT AND COURAGEOUS,
2, DARING AND BRAVE,
3, POTENTIAL I.G.P
4, PRIDE OF THE NATION.
But what is really wrong? Should we blame the Devil as usual? Or our reward system as suggested by others? Or materialism and craze for wealth as has been the order of the day?
It is too early to decide as the case is still under investigation. Some how his image has been seriously dented.This should be a good lesson to all of us.
Seriously, our reward system for public servants is too bad.The government should look into it ,if indeed we need a corrupt free public service. A system where a politician will serve a single term of four(4) years and be paid millions of naira as severance allowance and a public servant taking home a negligible amount after serving for 35 years is not tenable anywhere and should be reversed.
Public servants need good remuneration, sustainable pension scheme and indeed a good health care system after retirement.

DR, PANTAMI AND YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY.
A youth is by definition a person between the age of 35 to 40 years of age. A youth can easily be identified by the following characteristics.
1, Energetic,
2, Aggressive,
3, Destructive,
4, Exuberant;
5, Active,
6,Productive, and
7, Highly mobile.
They are also EXPERIMENTATIVE, FEARLESS AND VERY DARING in their activities.Such is are the characteristics of youth globally to which PANTAMI in an exemption. If this is true, why should his claims if YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY be held against him?
In Nigeria, during the war between America and Iraq over frivolous claims of possession of nuclear weapons on Iraq, we all witnessed the display of such YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY among our youths in Nigeria. Many christian youths saw the war as CRUSADE against Islam and supported this blindly, so also was the case with the Muslim youths who supported Iraq, saw it as Jihad, keeping the aftermart of the war which exhornorated Iraq of wrongs for another discuss. We can equally dig into who said what during the war and come up pressing for charges against the individuals for supporting terrorism because up till today the cause of that war has never and will never be justified. What name do call that war please? If you support it, what is your name? Can we equally accept your claim of YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY as an excuse? Will that not amount to double standard?
Let us be objective in our thinking. YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY is a reality of life. If our passed can be probed inti, no one can excape the YOUTHFUL EXUBERANCY syndrome.
If someone can confess to being an ex armed robber, repented and even ascend to the highest clerical office in the chritiandom in Nigeria and nothing is wrong with that, is it PANTAMI that should carry the cross?

2023,NORTHEAST WHERE ARE WE HEADING TO?

Seeing the list of candidates clamouring for post of A P C National Chairmanship, three are from the Northeast ie Senator Danjuma Goje. Senator Ali Modu Sharif and His Excellency Adamu Mu'azu.My question is, Why Party Chairmanship and not Presidency?

We have abundant human resources capable of fitting into the office of the President Federal Republic of Nigeria and why relegating ourselves.Is to confirm the rumour that the Northeast is going to be used to promote the candidency of Bola Ahmed Tinubu And hence the election of Senator Ahmed Lawal to facilitate it through constitutional amendment to accommodate rotational Presidency which is absolutely un democratic.

My take! These candidates are capable of ruling this country. If for one reason or the other they cannot make themselves available, they should not block our chances in the Northeast please. I see their ambition as a plan to block the chances of a budding politician like His Excellency Babagana Umara Zulum of Borne state. This man is capable of turning Nigeria around and to take it to the promised land.

I call on anyone , promoting the candidency of these people for the position of APC National Chairmanship to give a second thought. We should not limit our capabilities and political interest because of few individuals.

CAN, MIDDLE BELT FORUM AND BILLIRI CHIEFTAINCY AFFAIRS.
Sometimes it puzzles me as to what is the role of CAN with regards Christianity and nation building. Since the BILLIRI saga, i have been trying to figure out just one reason why CAN should mingle into affair that is purely traditional with both Muslims and Christians of same blood having equal stake in it. Pls help me out.
This thought is further complicated when the Middle belt forum jumped into it. Can someone also help out?

NIGERIA OUR COUNTRY!

It is only in Nigeria that you find 5 Policemen, 5 Traffic wardens, 5 Civil Defense personnel, with a patrol vehicle stationed by "TRAFFIC LIGHT " waiting for a traffic offender while armed robbers are having their field day elsewhere. Waist of human resources.

If I may ask. Why is the traffic light there for? Why is a patrol vehicle stationed? Is a traffic offender more important to the authority than criminals?

Pls help me out.

The decision of the Ogun state government to make students results public to foster healthy competitions ,as reported in Daily Trust, wed,june 3,2020 is a welcome development.
However,the governor should properly explore the provisions of both the child' s rights act and the freedom of information act 2011 before such action should be taken so as not to infringe on the rights of the students.
Special note should be taken of clause 15 (1) ( i) of the freedom of information act (2011).
