ATTENTION, Please be careful!!!

So I spent I've N2,000 on drugs for myself and my baby on a popular drug store today around Dhamidja, Transekulu on ya way to phase six. (it's quite big and popular).. And all the drugs I bought were fake/impotent.

The "Otrivin" was just water, the baby mentholated balm was nothing short of petroleum jelly and I m not even going to touch the third drug.

I bought antibiotic for my baby there 2weeks ago, gave it to him religiously as prescribed by their own pharmacist and it didn't work a day. In fact the catarrh escalated to what happened to my a baby last night

I went back to the pharmacy to scold them. Do you know they didn't even bother to say anything. No apologies, no defence almost as if they knew they were selling fake drugs.

What shocked me was that a doctor there, I guess affiliated to the pharmacy even tried to defend them for selling fake drugs, shifting the blame to the manufacturers.

Are you serious? different drugs, different manufacturers, bought on different days were all someone else's fault.

Not a fan of trado-medical but no wonder these herbal drug patrons are getting many clients these days because these hospitals and pharmacies are just chaff.

Doctors say these trado guys are causing an increase in damaged liver but it is these pharmacies selling fake and adulterated drug that are more dangerous because they go under the cloak of certification. U know what the uncertainty with trade meds but u believe you are in good hands with these pharmacies. Isn't that more dangerous?

Biko where are NAFDAC, the pharmacy regulators, the NMA, all the authorities. Chai, I miss Dora oooo

Pls be careful with the drugs you buy. God help us in this country where people have no value for human life or health only money.

AFRIFF 2017 Call for Entry!

The prestigious Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) is reopening in Lagos, Nigeria, for its 7th edition, in November 2017.
This major film event, which promotes and celebrates the talents of the African continent and the African diaspora, is expanding its range of films in competition on the occasion of its 7th edition.

AFRIFF will present a programme featuring more films from French-speaking Africa as well as French films. The festival wishes for its 7th edition to honor France and La Francophonie, in a long-term vision of artistic collaborations and partnerships.

The Festival hosts in official competition several categories: short films, feature films, documentaries, animated films, short films of film students.

Entries will be accepted until July 30th 2017.

Entries are also encouraged from french and francophone filmmakers in the following countries as well: Bénin, Burkina-Faso, Burundi, Cameroun, Central African republic, Comores, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Madagascar, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Sénégal, Seychelles, Chad, Togo, Tunisia etc

Former Miss World, Agbani Darego, has released the official photo from her private wedding, which took place on Saturday, April 8th in Marrakech, Morroco.

Agbani, shared the good news on her instagram page. According to the post she is now Mrs. Danjuma. However, she did not reveal the full identity of her husband.

The beauty queen married her longtime love Ishaya Danjuma in front of 35 invited guests of mostly close friends and family.

Ishaya is the son of General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, and has formerly been married once to an Asian lady but they had no children.
