*Hon Lawal: Innocent, yet a Pawn in the Hand of Traducers*
It is no gainsaying that Hon. Lawal, the incumbent member representing the good people of Ajaokuta LGA at the Green Chamber is a man of multiple worth who has made a lot of success before delving into the murky waters of Nigeria politics.
In business, he has distinguished himself as a meticulous tycoon who settles for nothing less than excellence, same zeal and dynamism he has brought to bear in politics. One cannot but confess that Hon. Lawal has made remarkable victory as Federal Lawmaker two consecutive times.
When the search for credible and forthright leader to represent the interest of Ajaokuta people at the House of Representatives became intense in 2015, Hon. Lawal succumbed to the pressure of his people to deliver the goodies. He made the attempt on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) but was mischievously denied of the ticket even when it was glaring that he was the best amongst all.
The crops of PDP hawks that vehemently repudiated his mandate did so to satisfy their greed for power. Amidst the palpable injustice done to him in PDP, the All Progressives Congress (APC) graciously embraced Alhaji Lawal and helped him to actualize his ambition. He was massively voted for, at the detriment of the power mongers that rusticated him out of PDP.
In 2019, APC also gave a return ticket to Alhaji Lawal, disgraced and spite his unrepentant traducers who denied him ticket hitherto. It is very apt to state that the All Progressives Congress contributed immensely to the bountiful political harvest and successful sojourn of Alhaji Lawal.
The current development is worrisome, and this has compelled me to pick up my pen to write in other to appeal to the conscience of our Honorable member. His defection to NNPP is a step taken to express his dissatisfaction but it is pertinent to inform the Honorable member to be conscious of the PDP counterparts who are applauding his step simply because they think they can possibly take imaginary political advantage from his step so far.
My Dearest Honorable member sir, may I remind you that the crops of PDP we have today have a very bad traits from history. You must be very conscious of their trick and antics which is synonymous to deceit and falsehood so you won't fall any cheap tactics.
May I take everyone down the memory lane, there was an era where the traits of PDP of today belong to DPN political party in Ajaokuta LGA, The then PDP leader contest for Senate againt Late Ali Omeiza and he loss to him in Okene. He return home to influence his loyalist to vote for UNCP party against his party DPN. They virtually played roles of sword of double surface.
That, there was a time same crops of people projected late Alhaji S.I Bello and Rt Hon Balogun Hussein for electoral position and left them in ACN, they suddenly made u-turn and became CPC faithful overnight and thereby leaving the contestants in the middle of occean to sink down politically
That in 2007, same crops of people also feature in Hon Bajeh and Alhaji Umar Sadiq Techo as CPC candidate for House of Representative, consume his resources, made him sell his properties and relegated him to the background politically. In 2011, After election they dump Alhaji Techo and left to PDP for the benefit of 40% political appointment, they claimed Techo glory and criticised him of lack of numerical strength for electioneering process and at the end abandoned Alhaji Techo till date.
That in 2015, same crops of people dominate PDP and send the pioneers away and takeover. They left Alhaji Haruna Ganaja to carry his cross alone after they loss House of Reps election, consequently same scenarios reoccurred in 2019. Alhaji Haruna who is their co-contestant is always left to carry his cross alone after they loss every presidential and House of Reps elections.
Hon. Lawal should be aware that those same crops of leader showing fake respect and love at this time once abused our heterogeneous nature of existence in Ajaokuta LGA and thereby discriminating you as an Igala man. But today in their usual deception are now calling you a brother and condemning their own real consanguinity. This is nothing but a manipulative interest
Dear Hon. Lawal sir, remember that those crops of people who have mastered the act of political deciet also dragged you to court to frustrate your administration. They questioned your credentials and labeled you with many unprintable names just to demarket you. Their unfounded anger solely stemmed from the fact that you won them on a clean sheet with an unimaginable margin. Till date, you have pending case with this set of PDP political marauders who are known for their usual blackmails, jealousy and deceit.
It is a worrisome situation to note that same crops of wicked political incarnates are making public statements in your favour. Some of the PDP leaders have been sighted making mischievous statement which I quote "if Ajaokuta citizen can't vote me, let them vote Lawal, he is my brother from a different mother". This is the most deceitful statement I've ever heard. This is the most cunning statement, a thoughtless statement aiming at using you as a pawn to annihilate APC political party so as to give PDP a headway to victory.
Dear Alhaji Lawal, the two term consecutive incumbent House of Representative under the plartform of APC, you are too smart to be deceived by gullible set of failed politicians who never meant well for you at any point in time.
I sincerely and publicly appeal to your conscience to remember how you started from the scratch in APC. No matter the dissatisfaction, don't allow your known enemy to score any cheap and undeserving political points as a result of steps taken in grievance.
It is on this note that I am appealing to you and your entire supporters to reunite with your party. APC is your home, you are a critical stakeholder here, your grievances and the differences right now are not beyond repairs.
Sir, have reflection on the masses who were in doom in 2015 for your sake. The traits of PDP of today made our land a hostile ground for her citizen, alot of crime and criminality were ravaging our people before you came and salavaged us.
Even more outstanding, you are excellently doing well in your business endeavor, I won't be wrong to say that your worth is beyond the worth of three House of Representatives members combined.
Therefore, I appeal to you to sustain your relationship with His Excellency Gov. Yahaya Bello who had wholeheartedly supported your political pursuit in times past. After this administration, I believe there are possible beneficial relationship you can always have with Gov Bello, retrace your step to enable you strengthen your cordiality with His Excellency.
Kogi APC chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello (Dollar), it is not too late to assemble party leaders and make a plausible resolution with Alhaji Lawal. We love him and we don't want to loose him to the deceitful opposition party with lots of betrayals track records.
Think deeply and you will see reason to retrace your step. APC is your party, APC is your home. I tender a plea, reunite with us.
I'm a formal PDP member, I was used and dump in my own little way, reckoning with PDP in any way is harmful and odoriferous, I know those people very well.
