Endogamous marriages are those that occur between spouses who are related by blood. In Senegal, most endogamous marriages are between paternal and maternal cousins.

The 1986 Senegalese Demographic and Health Survey data reveal that women first marrying do so with paternal or maternal cousins or other relations. About 70 percent of married women are related to their husbands. This pattern has not changed much since 1970, although there are variations among ethnic groups.

The lowest prevalence of endogamous marriages (50% to 60%) are found among the Manding and Diola, who live in the southern and Eastern parts of the country, while the highest levels (between 65% and 80%) prevail among the Wolof, Pulaar, and Serer. In most cases, women are married to paternal cousins, except among the Serer, where preference is given to maternal cousins.

" Am 24 years old ladz I need help from your Audience , I was married before but marriage didn't work because of the problem that I have I was being m0cked by my x husband so I felt it hard to go ahead with marriage

My problem is sometimes when i sleep early in the morning I will find myself am wett, I don't know how it happens mostly when am upset, scar3d, deprest or having so much pressure, I always go through this, but tho it's not every day. Sometimes I can be okay more than 6 months and when am thinking that this problem has finally end then that's when it comes and when it starts if am going through stress then it can continue for a week, 2 or 3 weeks of b3dwetting. The time that I got married is the time that I thought that the problem has gone completely so i didn't say anything to my fiancee because i thought i was okay, so after getting married the thing came again and I was asham3d, I was mock3d, then after 1 year in marriage my husband started using this problem as a w3apon against me. Whenever he did something wrong, I can't talk to him about it because he use to say that he will expos3 me to all the world to see how us3less i am, so he will be making fun of me that i bedw3tting at my age.

So it is something that really affects me emotionally. I always ask God, God have I done something that I can't be forgiven? Am I the only person that sin a lot? God why me? some years back I wanted to tak3 my lif3 because the m0cking was too much from my husband who is now my ex but by God's grace I just step out from marriage and move on with my life.

So I told my pastor about it he prayed for me, and I prayed about myself, I fasted not once or twice but number of times but God has been silent to my problem. No the years are going and am growing day by day but this problem is still there. I I tried by all means to look for help , I asked someone about it she told me to dri*nk my urin£, I did but there's no change and it has really disturbed my all

However, Saraki’s failure would be more understood when placed side by side the success of his fellow Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who has only spent one year in office.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has facilitated 294km of roads. Kwara got approval for the rehabilitation of four major roads under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme.
The roads include Kosubosu–Kaiama–Bode Saadu (130km); Bacita-Shonga-Lafiagi (83km); Eiyenkorin–Afon–Offa–Odo Otin (49km); and Okuta–Bokuro (32km), which connects the state to the Benin Republic.

Following years of persistent lobbying, he bore his weight on these demands and got them. And we could have lost it when tensions mounted on the legal status of the tax credit scheme. But he used his goodwill with the President and his team to secure those gains. How else does a man work for his state? Let Sarakites bring anything that compare to that huge infrastructural gain during his tenure.

Work has since commenced on some of them. A major breakthrough, this will open Nigeria to other West African countries, and crystallise the state’s social and economic development.

Barely a week ago, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the construction of Kaiama — Tesse road, less than two months after AbdulRazaq led Kwara federal lawmakers on a working visit to the Minister of Works and Transport Engr. David Umahi.
It would be the fifth approval for major federal roads barely his one year in office.

If we are talking about scorecards, it goes without saying these are huge achievements on infrastructural development, which is a sine qua non to bringing sustainable development to the state.
