IC World Centre Supermarket located at Gwarinpa 2nd Avenue was gutted by fire in the early hours of today. Here is an aftermath of the fire that lasted for over an hour. Efforts are already being made by the management to evacuate damaged items and restore the building to its original state.

UPDATE: A four-storey building under construction in the Lifecamp area of Abuja reportedly collapsed earlier today with many feared trapped under its rubbles.
The incident occurred at about 4pm, while workers were on the construction site near the Berger Clinic.
Officials of the FCT Fire Service and the National Emergency Management Agency @nemanigeria amongst other rescue teams were reportedly at the site to rescue victims from the collapsed building.
UPDATE: Residents of Trademore Estate, Lugbe are protesting the decision of the FCDA to demolish over 1500 houses within the area following the unfortunate flooding incident that occurred at the estate’s Phase 2.
The FCDA said the affected area has now been marked disaster zone.
