I also made new & great connections and on a general note, had a great time sharing my gift & stories with the world and laughter with friends.

It's the audacity for me,
to use this phrase when I'm stunned,
or exasperated, or simply mortified,

It's the audacity for me,
to pull this phrase into an entire painting, and tell a story around it,

it's the audacity for me,
to stay astonished at every other painting I have created after her,

It's the audacity for me,
to have in the works, more paintings in the audacity series, of women who have the audacity,

the audacity to be, to rest, to live in luxury and have a glass of fine wine or tea, to be African women who find the time to rest, to read, to sit pretty, in a state of affluence, to be in a state of stillness and of doing, nothing.

That's the audacity, for me.
