FUEL PRICES | The Ministry of Mines and Energy has decided to reduce the price of petrol by N$1.20 and diesel by 30c.

The decision follows consultations with a number of stakeholders to give temporary relief to consumers for the next three months by reducing the amount of levies collected from fuel.
These include NAMCOR levies and tax of fuel price by 50%, while the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) levies will be reduced by 25%.

The new price is effective from Wednesday.
