BAND ANNOUNCEMENT!

Vietnamese crossover thrash punk band,
CÚT LỘN will make their debut Malaysia performance at the festival! The quartet is well-known for their crude Pikachu costumes worn on stage, creating a fun and childish vibe that has become their identity and phenomenal stage presence.

Cút Lộn was formed in 2018 through the Hanoi underground scene. Initially, the band was interested in producing hardcore music infused with metal riffing, reminiscent of the 90s new school hardcore vibe. After a few sessions, the band developed fast thrash metal riffs over punk-style drumming, resulting in 10 crossover tracks that became the band’s first album, ‘Xào Ke’. The album was followed by three more single releases between 2020 and 2022. Since then, they have played numerous shows across Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and Cambodia.

In early 2024, the band changed their vocalist and music direction, with their new songs becoming heavier, darker, and more chaotic. With this new lineup, the band plans to release their second album in August 2024. In this year’s NoiseNotBombs edition, Cút Lộn will perform at Koloyan River Cottage on 24th August 2024. Don’t miss them!
