Nusar Unleashed Fest proudly presents Saturday Heroes, the torchbearers of Malaysia’s Punk/Oi! scene! Get ready for an electrifying fusion of 70s Proto-Punk, Glam-Punk, and Rock & Roll as Saturday Heroes light up the stage with their timeless anthems and unrelenting energy!

Formed in 1996, this legendary band is the brainchild of Mono, whose passion for Punk/Oi! has driven Saturday Heroes to become a symbol of rebellion and musical innovation. Known for their raw energy and crowd-favorite anthems, Saturday Heroes have carved their legacy across Malaysia and beyond.
🎶 Band Milestones:
• 1997 – Self-titled Demo (Strange Culture Record)
• 1998 – Debut Album Oi! Oi! City Boy (5,000 units sold in Malaysia, UK, and Germany)
• 2001 – EP Play it Loud (Three-way split, Life Records)
• 2013 – EP We’re Back, Loud & Proud (Distributed in Japan, Czech Republic, Germany, and the USA)
After years of silence, Saturday Heroes returned with a vengeance, and in 2023, they released their newest work of art – ‘Radio Bovver Rok N Roll’. With tracks inspired by the rebellious sounds of Proto-Punk and Glam Rock, the album is a triumphant celebration of their roots and evolution.
