Syed Darul Hamdan Al-Mashoor has had more than eighteen years of extensive experience in quality, health and safety and environmental (QHSE) management and process improvement. He is an IRCA Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Assessor, a NIOSH Trained Health and Safety Officer and a Motorola University Certified Green Belt holder. Syed has wide, vast, hands-on experiences of QHSE management in manufacturing and service industries, from local small enterprises right up to large multi-national Company, private and GLCs, including Food Processing (HACCP/GMP), Automotive (TS16949) and even the ICTs (CMMi Dev v1.2). In his various managerial positions, among the many QHSE Management functions, he has been responsible for designing policies and principles, formulating and development of strategies, identifying and setting up organizational goals and quantifiable objectives, planning and installing the comprehensive QHSE management system, deploying, coaching and qualification of the process owners, training and certifying internal auditors, leading and coordinating audits and gap analysis, facilitating and coaching various methodology and best practises for incident investigation and resolution, problem solving, decision making and process improvement, leading and driving the continual improvement initiatives, following up with non-conformances, non-compliances, deliverables issues and customer complaint to ensure they are addressed or escalated and resolved in a timely manner, publishing reports and leading monthly, quarterly and annual review meeting, and finally ensuring continuous internationally recognized accreditation and certification of his organization. Although in his forties, he is not short of humour and believes in making learning fun. In addition, based on his extensive working experience and passion for QHSE, he is also able to share his true experience when delivering her training by using them as examples or real scenarios to relate to his presentation which makes the learning process more effective.
