Waris Shah was a legendary Punjabi poet of Chisti order from eighteenth century. He wrote the epic love saga of Heer Ranjha. He hailed from Jandiala Sher Khan now in present day Pakistan.
Waris Shah is hugely fictionalised in Punjabi cinema in both India and Pakistan.

‘Writing is an art that needs to be developed through deliberate practice.’ Toni Morrison rightly said, ‘If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.’ Keeping these profound words in mind, our young minds of Young Dragon’s English Club worked on the themes and genres like never give up spirit, fantasy, mystery and feel good spirit. The book has fifty short stories by children of the age group of five to seventeen and edited by Sumit Sehgal.
