AIRTEL TOP 8 CUP KICKS OFF AT A HIGH NOTE
Airtel Top 8 CUP has began on a high note with Nyasa Big Bullets punishing Karonga United in the first leg of the match at the Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
The Airtel Top 8 CUP defending champions took home ground advantage harrassing the visitor as Bullets were able to score seven goals past Karonga goalie.
Goals from Anthony Mfune (12'), a brace from Lanjesi Nkhoma (34', 43'), Babatunde Adepoju (50') Stanley Billiat (81') Henry Kabichi (83') and Precious Phiri (91') were enough to seal a win for Maulle thereby extending one leg into the semi finals of Airtel Top 8 Cup.
The second leg will be played at Karonga Stadium which will demand Karonga United to score 8 goals to proceed to the semi finals.
Another game in the cup will played at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday, 6 November, 2022 in which Mighty Mukuti Wanderers welcomes MAFCO who are coming from a TNM super league over Nyasa Big Bullets.
