Jewel Starfish Foundation in Collaboration with STEMpower Inc. Launches a Mini STEM Center at BCTC
The Jewel Starfish Foundation, in collaboration with STEMpower Inc, has launched a Mini STEM Center at the B**g County Technical College. Speaking during the launching ceremony, Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, Liberia’s Vice President, said the project is meant to contribute towards the national program for strengthening mathematics and science education in Liberia. The Liberian Vice President also encouraged the administration of the B**g County Technical College to properly maintain the facility and use it for the purpose intended. Source: FrontPage & New Dawn
“Unrepentant Murderer”; CPP Responds To PYJ
The Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has condemned the “foul trash spewed by the unrepentant murderer, Prince Yormie Johnson, of the Movement for Democratic Reconstruction (MDR), which holds the Vice Standard Bearer position of the opposition Unity Party (UP), during his so-called church service on Sunday, May 28, 2023”.In a release issued Monday, May 29, 2023, the CPP said, “The murderous warlord defamed the purpose of worship and defiled the name of the Christian church screaming hate-filled messages and lies against the Standard Bearer of the CPP, Mr. Alexander B. Cummings, the recently-named charismatic Vice Standard Bearer, Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine, and the Chairman Emeritus of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Atty. Orishall Gould. ECOWAS President Calls For Solidarity And Action Towards Shared Prosperity on 48th Anniversary

PYJ replies Maritime boss Nagbe
Senator/Evangelist Prince Yormie Johnson of Nimba County is fighting back here, attacking the Commissioner General of the Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA) Lenn Eugene Nagbe describing him as a very sick man who needs deliverance. Preaching Sunday, 28 May at his Christ Faith Chapel Ministry in Paynesville, Sen. Johnson revealed that the Maritime boss and chief strategist of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has been sick for quite a long time and needs special healing. Labour Ministry Finally Ends Dispute At Mittal Steel
At long last, the Government of Liberia (GOL), through the Ministry of Labour, has ended the long-standing impasse between the management of Arcelor Mittal Liberia and its workers, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) maintaining the previous mandate to increase the salaries of employees at the company. The United Workers Union of Liberia (UWUL) is the mother union representing employees at AML. It can be recalled that on April 11 this year, the Ministry of Labour rendered a ruling in the complaint filed by UWUL for and on behalf of aggrieved workers of AML against the company’s management.
