Drugs Traffickers have not left Liberia, source tells DN News they will leave on Sunday.

Our source closed to the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency(LDEA) has confirmed that individuals involved in the massive 100-million drug trafficking case are still in the country.

According to our source the defendants are expected to leave Liberia on Sunday through RIA.

Our source indicated that people have been seriously warned against taking the Drugs Lords pictures while leaving on May 28, 2023, through the Roberts International Airport by ASKY Airlines.

Recently Criminal Court C acquitted all defendants in the historic 100m drugs case and went on to demand government to return 250k seized from the drug lords.

The Court action was strongly rejected and condemned by Liberia’s Justice Minister demanding that drug traffickers be rearrested.
According to report the Justice Minister was informed that the men had left the Country already .
A narration which is a blatant lie, they’re here.

But our creditable source revealed that they are still in the Country and will leave Liberia on Sunday.

Gender To Commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day Friday

The Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection (MoGCSP) with support from partners will on Friday, May 26, 2023, commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day.

The World Menstrual Hygiene Day (MHD, MH Day) is an annual awareness day celebrated globally on May 28 to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene management at a global level.

The day was initiated by the German-based NGO WASH United in 2013 and was first celebrated in 2014. The World Menstrual Hygiene Day is being observed on 28, May, because menstrual cycles average 28 days in length and people menstruate an average of five days each month and May is the fifth month of the year.

The 2023 Menstrual Hygiene Day is being commemorated under a global theme “Making Menstruation a Normal Fact of Life by 2030.”

The day’s celebration is part of ongoing global efforts to break the taboos and end the stigma surrounding menstruation, raise awareness about the challenges regarding access to menstrual products, education about menstruation and period-friendly sanitation facilities.

Considering the importance of the day’s celebration, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) through the Adolescent Girls Division in collaboration with partners, will bring together over 150 adolescent girls from 6 slump communities in Montserrado County and it’s surrounding to observe the day by creating awareness.

An indoor program marking the official celebration of the day will take place Friday, May 26, 2023 at the EJS Ministerial Complex where speakers will enlighten the minds of first-time menstruators on menstrual health and hygiene promotion, essence of the day, and also, distribute Menstrual Management packages including disposable sanitary pad and towels.

Journalist Kadallah Allison reports:

US President Writes;

The Supreme Court’s disappointing decision in Sackett v. EPA will take our country backwards. It puts our Nation’s wetlands – and the rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds connected to them – at risk of pollution and destruction, jeopardizing the sources of clean water that millions of American families, farmers, and businesses rely on.

Since the Clean Water Act was passed by an overwhelming bipartisan majority in Congress in 1972, it has been used by Republican and Democratic administrations alike to help ensure Americans in every state have clean water. It is the reason why today America’s lakes are swimmable, why we can fish in our streams and rivers, and why clean water comes out of our taps.

Today’s decision upends the legal framework that has protected America’s waters for decades. It also defies the science that confirms the critical role of wetlands in safeguarding our nation’s streams, rivers, and lakes from chemicals and pollutants that harm the health and wellbeing of children, families, and communities.

I am committed to protecting clean air and water for our kids for generations to come. My team will work with the Department of Justice and relevant agencies to carefully review this decision and use every legal authority we have to protect our Nation’s waters for the people and communities that depend on them. We will work with states, cities, and Tribal communities to pass and uphold critical protections for their residents. Through my Investing in America agenda, we’re already deploying historic resources in communities all across America to remove lead pipes, improve water quality, and rebuild the Nation’s drinking water infrastructure.

Our fight for clean water for all must go on, and it will.

Vice President Kamala Harris of the United States writes:

George Floyd should be alive today. Three years after his murder, our Administration remains committed to honoring his memory by fighting for a justice system that lives up to its name.

Congress can and must do everything in its power to protect public safety, advance accountable policing, and address racial injustice. That is the work ahead.

🎙️Bea Mountain Captain Kemoh Kamara | “God is above all. I believe in myself, and it’s a privilege to play for the national team so people who are there, for now, we support them because it’s their time, we respect the Coach’s decision to call people that he believes can fit in his system. As he said on social media, he calls people that fit his system, and all I can say is they are there already and we prayed for them. This is our nation, Liberia first Liberia last.

It’s surprising to the entire nation because I have worked hard throughout the season winning the Best Defender award. Based on that, I do expect a call-up, but again, it’s football. I have nothing against him because he’s the boss and we support him.”

🇱🇷 Congratulations to Brem M Soumaoro on yet another call-up to the Liberia Football Association.

🔮 Group K is uniquely poised so these two fixtures could prove monumental in The Lone Stars' quest to cause a major upset & qualify for AFCON for the first time since 2002.
