Samuel Dedetoku, popularly known as Sam Dede, was born on November 17, 1965. He is a Nigerian actor, film director, politician, and lecturer who has made a significant impact in the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood.
Early Life and Education
Sam Dede hails from Rivers State, Nigeria. He obtained a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, which laid the foundation for his career in the entertainment industry.
Career
Sam Dede has appeared in numerous films, including "Ijele" (1999), "Issakaba" (2000), "The Mayors" (2004), "In My Country" (2017), "Our Jesus Story" (2020), "The Legend of Inikpi" (2020), and "The Good Husband" (2020). His role in "Issakaba" is particularly notable, as it brought him widespread recognition and acclaim.

Sam Dede has received several awards for his outstanding performances, including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and the SVAFF 2014 Special Recognition Award.
