In Javascript, there are five basic, or primitive, types of data. The five most basic types of data are strings, numbers, booleans, undefined, and null. We refer to these as primitive data types.

***Strings*** are for storing and manipulating text in JavaScript. A JavaScript string can be zero or more characters and should be written inside quotes.

In JavaScript, ***numbers*** are primitive data types. For example, const a = 3; const b = 3.13; Unlike in some other programming languages, you don't have to specifically declare for integer or floating values using int, float, etc. You can use exponential notation e to include too large or too small numbers.

Numeric data types are of two: ***BIGINT*** and ***NUMBER***.
BigInt is an integer while numbers are decimals. They are implemented differently bigInt is stored as arbitrary-precision integers and the number as double-precision 64-bit number. BigInt can handle large numbers.
The number can handle 9007199254740991 ( Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER) or less. It is a limitation imposed due to the double precision 64 bit number

The BigInt can handle numbers larger than that. BigInt is limited by the available memory of the host system.

***Boolean*** is an object that represents value in two states: true or false. The default value of JavaScript Boolean object is false.
Very often, in programming, you will need a data type that can only have one of two values, like:

YES / NO
ON / OFF
TRUE / FALSE

For this, JavaScript has a Boolean data type. It can only take the values true or false.

***Null*** in JavaScript means an empty value and is also a primitive type in JavaScript. The variable which has been assigned as null contains no value. It is the intentional absence of the value.

***Undefined***, , means the variable has been declared, but its value has not been assigned. It means the value does not exist in the compiler.

India to overtake China as world's most populous country

India is expected to overtake China as the most populous country in April. The UN predicts this shift will mark the transition of the world's factory status to India.

With China's population already shrinking, by 2050 China's population will be 8% less than it is now. While India's population will keep growing until 2064, peaking at 1.7 billion, almost twice as large as China's at that time.

India is expected to provide more than a sixth of the growth of the world's working-age population (15-64-year-olds) between now and 2050. Its economy recently displaced Britain’s as the world’s fifth-biggest and will rank third by 2029.

The UN notes that China's demographic slump is a disaster for its economy. China faces the "4-2-1 phenomenon": each single child is responsible for two parents and four grandparents. So most elderly Chinese will rely heavily on a public pension system that itself is underfunded.
