Set to be officially launched in January of next year, DIVA 2014® is a reality show that brings together 20 contestants on one stage and under one roof for three months in a competition to win a luxury car, a cash prize of $20,000 (Twenty thousands) United States dollars, a six months free stay in a renowned guest house, and a modeling deal. llaboration with the Renaissance Communications Inc (owner and operator of Real TV3 and Truth 96.1 FM) DIVA 2014® promises to be the most financially and commercially rewarding and impacting television show in Liberia both to the contestants, the Sponsors, and organizers as well. The judges will select 20 contestants from the audition who shall be housed in what is known as the “Diva’s House” for Three Months. The contestants will undergo series of challenges each week to make it to the next level. Each week, fans and viewers are allowed to vote for their favorite contestants. Each Contestant is to reach the benchmark of 5,000 votes per week. This number is a requirement to move to the next level. Two Contestants with the lowest votes will be eliminated each week. The voting public are the only judges on the show to decide who is eliminated and or who wins the competition. The overall budget for this year’s edition is $100,000 (one hundred thousand) United States dollars. Part of this amount will be used as winner’s benefits, while the remaining percentage will be used to rent the Diva’s House (where the contestants would be housed), and promote the program on radio, television, newspapers, and billboards; and compensate project staffs.
