Colombo Scouts to Join Baden Powell Day Celebrations and Tree Planting Campaign Organized by Sri Lanka Scout Association on Monday, 22nd February 2021!

All Singithi, Cub, Junior, Senior & Rover Scouts are advised to plant at least one plant in a public place or at their homes.

Planting of each tree should be uploaded in to “Thuru Mobile Application” under “Sri Lanka Scout Association” group by the Scout itself. Continuous assessment of plant growth will be monitored at different stages and Tree Planting registration certificates will be issued during the “Earth Hour Celebrations - 2021” which will be held online on 29th March 2021.
Scout those who have looked after their plants for at least one year will be awarded with certificates at BP Day Celebrations – 2022.

The Grand Opening Ceremony of the 55th Colombo Camporee 2020 will be held tomorrow, 23rd December 2020 from 7.00 p.m. onwards LIVE on "Colombo Scouts" YouTube Channel. The most anticipated Campo Activity Portal with all the Camporee Details will also be launched on the inaugural evening of Camporee 2020.

The event will be graced by our Chief Guest Mr. Ahmad Alhendawi, Secretary General of World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).
