This is my first time to visit the meseum (Vientiane Museum of Contemporary Arts) in Laos, and I really didn't expect this, but you know, it was really amazing.

Before we entered the museum, there was a tour guide who gave us information and told us stories.

On the first floor, you cannot take photos. But you can take it on the second floor.

Vientiane Museum of Contemporary Arts is located in Xaythany district’s Xangkhou village, on Kaysone Phomvihane Avenue.

The museum was established by Mr. Phisith Xayathith, who revealed that he has collected more than 3,000 exhibits over the past 20 years.

The collection features various carved wood pieces that reflect the culture of Laos and other Asean nations.

This museum is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.

The ticket is 100,000 kip per person.
