나미브(NAMIB)는 나미비아어로 '아무것도 없는 광대한 땅'이라는 뜻으로 무에서 유를 창조하는 창작의 영역을 은유합니다. 다양한 예술을 대중들의 생활 속에 자연스럽게 스며드는 문화 환경을 목적으로 하며 국내외 아티스트들의 독창적이고 실험적인 창작활동을 응원하며 '또 하나의 작품'이란 슬로건 아래 전시기획, 작품집 제작 및 유통, 작품인화등의 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공합니다.
NAMIB is Nama for “Vast land where there is nothing” which we took as a metaphor for “the realm of creation” that makes something out of nothing. Under the motto of “Another piece of art”, we produce a variety of contents and services such as exhibition planning, art books publishing and high-quality image printing to turn artists’ effort into the best possible results. We support and collaborate all kinds of creative and experimental activities of artists from all over the world, and hope that various arts will naturally permeate our lives.
