The 𝙷𝚊𝚕𝚘 𝙴𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝 is a cognitive bias where the perception of one positive trait influences the perception of other traits of a person or entity. This means that an individual's overall impression can skew their judgment about specific characteristics. For example, if someone perceives a person as attractive, they are more likely to also rate them as kind, intelligent, or competent, even without specific evidence

𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘀𝗵𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀

The term "𝙷𝚊𝚕𝚘 𝙴𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝" was coined by psychologist Edward Thorn d**e in the 1920s.
