NBOStory Lab is a new initiative of Nuba Reports, a documentary and journalism organization focused on Sudan’s conflict zones that has created dozens of documentary films at the intersection of citizen reporting and documentary. In addition, Nuba Reports has collaborated with the New York Times, Al Jazeera, VICE, PBS, and ARTE. NBOStory Lab was created as an open-source space to experiment with an

d create new storytelling techniques and technologies. Successful experiments can then be deployed to be used by regional media, or spun off.
