In 2011 when Walter Mongare aka Nyambane worked as The Group Head of Radio services at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, he decided to shut down Metro FM 101.9 which was purely a Reggae station.

Fyah Mummah Jahmby Koikai was by then working there as a news anchor and a program host, by the way she hosted the first radio clash alongside DJ Stano. Nyambane wanted to give the frequency to a all lady station which he had named Venus FM.

On their finally day of being on air as Metro FM, Jahmby was to read the 4:00 PM news. Nyambane prepared additional news item of which she was to announce that they'll no longer be on air as Metro FM and that the station was closing down.

So, there was a way of which Metro FM news were read with speed. She read the other items then when she got to the part where she was to announce the closure of Metro FM, Jahmby was unable to utter a word.

Metro FM news were in English because it was an English radio station but presenters would occasionally use Kiswahili or sheng, Jahmby eventually said it in sheng " Manze, nik**a hatutakuwa huku tena, lakini msiworry, nobody can stop reggae"
