Antony statement after accusations 🇧🇷

Brazilian media reported today that Man United star Antony is being investigated by the São Paulo court for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin.

Antony replies with formal statement 🚨⤵️

“Out of respect for my fans, friends and family I feel obligated to speak publicly about the false accusations I have been a victim of.

From the beginning I have handled this issue seriously and with respect, providing the due clarifications to the police authority. The police inquest is under cover of justice, and therefore I cannot make its content public.

However, I can say with confidence that the accusations are false and that the evidence already produced and more to be produced show that I am innocent of the accusations made.

My relationship with Ms. Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal offenses from both sides, but I never practiced any physical aggression.

Every time, whether in testimony or in interview, she presents a different version of the accusations.

Thus, I come to deny the accusations made and inform that I remain at the full disposal of the Brazilian authorities to clarify what is needed.

I trust the ongoing police investigations will reveal the truth about my innocence”.

“Following the dropping of all charges against Mason Greenwood in February 2023, Manchester United has conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations made against him”.

“This has drawn on extensive evidence and context not in the public domain, and we have heard from numerous people with direct involvement or knowledge of the case”.

“Throughout this process, the welfare and perspective of the alleged victim has been central to the club’s inquiries, and we respect her right to lifelong anonymity”.

“We also have responsibilities to Mason as an employee, as a young person who has been with the club since the age of seven, and as a new father with a partner”.

“The fact-finding phase of our investigation is now complete, and we are in the final stages of making a decision on Mason’s future”.

“Contrary to media speculation, that decision has not yet been made and is currently the subject of intensive internal deliberation. Responsibility ultimately rests with the Chief Executive Officer”.

“Once made, the decision will be communicated and explained to the club’s internal and external stakeholders”.

“This has been a difficult case for everyone associated with Manchester United, and we understand the strong opinions it has provoked based on the partial evidence in the public domain. We ask for patience as we work through the final stages of this carefully considered process”

Hey , head up my bro ❤️

You did us proud and showed the world what kind of a player you can be. I’ve been a proud MUFC fan for last 23 years and have seen lots of ups and downs. Especially we’ve been through so much struggles in last few years but, I can confidently say that, this season the team including YOU and the support staffs gave us hope, belief and brought back our smiles again.

The club is getting back to where it belongs and we are starting to believe again. You are going to be a vital part of it.

You are special ⭐️, a great talent, a magical player, a fighter and a passionate player who gives everything when you wear that badge.

Every defeat is a steppingstone to our success. Every game is a lesson. So head up my bro. This season was incredible, we saw the glimpse of the future. Yes, we are not satisfied because we are MANCHESTER UNITED but we are proud for what we achieved this season. So,

I feel for Alejandro Garnacho. We sometimes forget he's just 18 years of age.

Due to our poor transfer activity, Manchester United and Erik ten Hag have no choice but to put an awful lot on his shoulder.

Bringing him on in a cup final, at Wembley, midway through the second half against the best team in the world, Man City, to make a difference is obviously a torture but the lad doesn't hide himself.

Just because he appears like he's handling the load so well, doesn't mean he deserves it.

With the hapless injury to Lisandro Martinez, I thought we'll start swallowing GOALS left, right and center.

▪️But man, Victor Lindelof Stepped up and gave Harry Maguire, a permanent seat on the bench with seatbelt.

▪️Luke Shaw stepped- in, in that CB role and Played his part.

▪️ Wan-Bissaka has been extraordinary both in attack, Defense and he sometimes comes to help in midfield.

▪️And what of Rolls Royce Varane, came back from injury and in no time brought back stability and Clean-sheet to that Backline

▪️Then You've David De Gea, making few sublime saves.

Don't know the motivation Erik Ten Hag gave them, but they all stepped up MASSIVELY.
