Levitate is a breakthrough DJ/Producer from Mexico City, and the creator of Quetzal, coming up this Friday on Ascent!

The energetic Levitate has been working hard in the studio for the past couple of years and has hit the ground running. His unique take on trance music has started to make people take recognition of his sound that blends trance with tech infused beats, by combining the best elements of electronic music.

As a DJ, Levitate's sets reflect the diversity of his releases and are filled with his own productions. M42, the architect behind this Friday's release, makes his Ascent debut with the beautiful uplifter San Antonio, named after his wife's city of origin.

A bit about him:

"M42" aka "D**g Hee Danny Haam" is based in Seoul, South Korea.

M42 started his career in 2020 with his debut single [Zireael] on Cohesion records.

In the next year 2021, he reworked Korean trance legend duo Dream Techno's track [Lost Memories] and released it on HeavensGate.

His journey continues with the sunset of [San Antonio].

A bit about him:

Canadian trance producer Edwin ‘Yelow’ Tsui is a fast rising trance producer based out of Calgary, Alberta. With over a decade of event hosting & club DJing experience, he set his sights on music production in 2017 by co-founding the Soundcation Trance Retreats with Dennis Sheperd.

His first releases in 2020 made an immediate impact on the scene, with releases on Coldharbour and Magic Island, with 2 of his tracks picked up for the 16th edition of the legendary ‘In Search of Sunrise’ compilation. In his inaugural year he also accepted an invitation from Roger Shah himself to manage the Magic Island label in an A&R role.

He is best known for his energetic uplifting style, his producer filled sets full of exclusive reworks, bootlegs. In 2021 he had a break out year with his works with Roger Shah hitting over 4 million streams on Spotify and two of the tracks breaking into the A State of Trance top charts for the end of the year. In 2022, his Bootleg remix of ‘Swing 2 Harmony’ was one the most played track at Luminosity Beach Festival & you can find many of the top uplifting DJs playing out his originals and reworks at top festivals such as Luminosity, Electric Daisy Carnival, Untold and Dreamstate.

With tracks & remixes signed to the biggest trance labels such as Armada, Subculture, Future Sound of Egypt and many more, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this fresh new talent!

A bit about Ethan:

Ethan Le, the mastermind behind Freak E Beatz, started making music during his early college years while studying at California State University of Fullerton. His passion has always been with electronic music - Trance and Progressive. In 2022, he collaborated with highly recognized Artist like Dennis Sheperd and accumulated close to a million streams worldwide, of which come from their collaboration “Break the Ice” that was released on Black Hole Recordings. The track gain support from top DJs like Andrew Rayel, Tritonal, Marlo, and many more. His track ‘Here 4 U’ later was featured on In Search of Sunrise 18 compilation and was also featured on Armin Van Buurren’s, A State of Trance, Episode 1085 and Pure Trance Radio, episode 346, with Solarstone. In early 2023, he released his for single “The Journey” with Coldharbour Recordings and gained support from Markus Schulz.

As a prominent figure in the trance and progressive music scene, German music producer and DJ Dennis Sheperd has made a name for himself through exceptional talent, innovation, and dedication. Now based in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dennis consistently pushes the boundaries of the genre with inventive concepts and captivating tunes.

With four albums under his belt and over 50 million streams on Spotify, Dennis's career took off in 2007 with the release of "A Tribute to Life," an original track that embodied his positive philosophy. In 2011, his chart-topping anthem "Fallen Angel" caught the attention of industry giants such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten, leading to collaborations and remix opportunities with artists like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gareth Emery.

The incredible voice and lyrical talent on Higher is Sander Nijbroek, a breakthrough Dutch artist who is equally at home behind the guitar as well as countless dance releases.

A bit about Sander:

Sander Nijbroek is a Dutch gospel artist, songwriter and producer who made a decision in 2022 to mainly focus on creating new gospel, praise and worship music.

Prior to that decision Sander has already been active in the music industry amassing over 30 million streams as a featured artist, songwriter and/or producer. His music has been premiered on Tomorrowland’s main stage, featured on MTV & ITV, played on numerous radiostations and he’s co-written the title track for Angrybirds 2 (NL) as performed by Dutch celebrity DO.

Sander’s music has been released on Universal Music, Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music, Revealed & many other household names and includes collaborations with Timmy Trumpet, DO, Vini Vici, Mr. Belt & Wezol and more. His releases have been supported by Hardwell, Lost Frequencies, Sam Feldt and many other prominent names in the industry.
