With a heavy heart we write this post. We just found out that the Most High took another soldier to fight another battle. We are saddened by hearing the news that our friend Jah Wiz has passed away. We are unsure of the cause of death. The news was shocking to us when we found out the news on Easter Sunday. Upsetta family sends sincere condolences to Jah Wiz family and friends and all of our musical fraternity.

Jah Wiz started his musical career touring the world with artists like Shaggy, Tony Rebel, Maxi Priest and more. Being a backup vocalist laying harmonies while on tour and in studio sessions. In a studio in Jamaica is where Delly Ranks first heard him and signed him to his Pure Music label. It was through Delly that we were introduced to Jah Wiz. Wzdom aka Jah Wiz recorded with Upsetta Records on a few productions such as Lion Pride Riddim and Ouji Riddim.

His song Upful Meditation (Ouji Riddim) is such a great inspirational song and was one of his favorites that he wrote and sang. We are thankful that his music will live on and his name will forever be remembered.
