Love Letters From Eylenda by Indolore is an album that was recorded in Sundlaugin Studio in 2017. It includes 7 songs. Completely romantic and soothing at the same time, we got to know Indolore gently. It's like a friend who talks about his feelings around a coffee. This album is also comforting. We all have a moment where we need this album.✨
The album Fossora by Björk was recorded in Studio Sýrland in 2022. It includes a total of 13 songs for 54 min 14 sec. The style of this album is ambient, leftfield, tribal, abstract and vocal.
Björk's newest project does not sound like most “pop music” of recent years. It is based on bass clarinet and fungi, with a title in Latin. “Fossora” is an intentionally incorrect feminization of the word “fossor,” which means digger.
With Fossora, you’ll find themes of feminine reclamation, connection, and love

Bonnie "Prince" Billy recorded their album "The Letting Go" in The Greenhouse Studios in 2006!
The album was produced by Valgeir Sigurðsson, who is known for his work with the Icelandic artist Björk.
The album's title comes from the last lines of the Emily Dickinson poem that starts "After a Great Pain, A Formal Feeling Comes."
This is the hour of lead
Remembered if outlived,
As freezing persons recollect the snow,
First chill, then stupor, then the letting go.
Not many think of Iceland as full of tress and soft colours, but you can find it by Lagarfljót in East Iceland. The nearest studio to their is Studio Silo in Stöðvarfjörður!
Theory of Machines by Ben Frost was recorded in The Greenhouse Studio in Iceland
Ben exploits every extreme of pitch, volume and timbre, the changes in music sometimes seem as gradual as changes in the weather - and sometimes as violent. As the music changes it changes only in textures, colour and intensity so that the sense is not of something being created, altered or even developed, but of something already present being slowly illuminated.
Bear McCreary featured the Schola Cantorum, the chamber choir of Reykjavík’s prominent Hallgrímskirkja, on the soundtrack for Sony‘s video game God Of War.
The soundtrack features an orchestra with 50 strings, 17 brass and six low woodwinds, in addition to the Icelandic 22-singer choir and another 48-singer choir from Prague.
“The main reason why they asked us to do this was because the lyrics are in old Norse, which is very close to the language of the Icelandic Sagas,” explains choirmaster Hörður Áskelsson.
Peter Scaturro explains that they “recorded the Icelandic choir first because we wanted to have the authenticity in the pronunciation of the lyrics”. This authenticity has enabled the producer to create an emotional identity to the main character. “Thats what I think draws us to the gameplay and makes that connection with the characters”, according to Peter Scaturro.
