🍂 ⁣Soroush Gharehbaghi, a.k.a. “Bi-Polar” (born 1989 in Tehran) is an Iran-based DJ who has dedicated himself to exploring new modes of expression with regard to Romanian minimal music.⠀
His projects and sound designs have been shown at many contemporary platforms, such as RBMA (UAE), TADAEX (Iran), Lightbox NYC (US) and NeoShibuya (Japan).⠀
Since 2011, he has made the transition from contemporary platforms to the remain unseen.⠀
Currently, he is working on his own record label, "B/PLR". A record label/studio working on related projects based in Tehran.⠀

Italian born, London based artist is a DJ and producer that blends organic and electronic sounds into creating dreamlike dance music.⠀
Jacopoʼs work has been influenced by a wide range of genres, including funk, spiritual jazz, techno, house, U.K. garage and electronic. The output is a collection of compositions which layer rich melodies, wonky danceable grooves with a touch of glitchy electronics and acoustic samples. A common thread that runs through his work leaving a unique imprint on the listener.⠀

⁣Utrecht based Arno Peeters, aka Sp@sms is our Affair’s series next guest.⠀
Who just recently ⁣returns to U-TRAX with 'From A 20th Century Box' LP, backed with remixes from and .force .⠀
'Arno Peeters, aka Sp@sms, with his debut full-length album, showcasing years of sonic exploration stemming from his time in various groups, including Random XS and Voltage Control amongst others, the LP also draws from his experience studying and teaching music at the Centre for Electronic Music as well as his work on project-based sound design.⠀
Below is the description of his set:⠀
First off, I'm not a DJ: last time I was spinning records was maybe at a high school-party mid 80's. And aside from being fairly active in the scene early nineties, I was more of a k**b fiddler than a collector of records and was more focused on sounds than styles.⠀
Today I work as a sound engineer, mostly for Dutch Public Radio and have hardly any time left to listen, let alone work on music. ⠀
So instead of trying to be hip and happening with the freshest cuts, I decided to put together a mix of some of the tracks that have inspired me and pay hommage to the heroes that shaped my taste: some are more obvious, like , and 808 State, but there's also lesser known stuff by Brian Eno & David Byrne, Coil, Schoolly D and Tackhead. ⠀
I have always been an omnivore when it comes to music: I really did dig disco remixes, raw rap, but also minimal music like Koyaanisqatsi or raw stuff like Einstürzende Neubauten and Bu****le Surfers: I guess the red line is the impact that sound has on me. ⠀
The second part of the mix is mostly my own stuff from almost 3 decades ago which now has been released. ⠀

So this mix is rather eclectic and forgive me for not having the tracks perfectly lined up: I’m a master in software, but have never learned to work with DJ-stuff. Still I hope 'younger' listeners can appreciate what many founders have done before EDM took off. Guess I’m getting old ;-)

⁣Grammar of Movement is one of the monikers of , DJ and musician based in Copenhagen via Aarhus.⠀
His two releases Azadi EP, released 2016, and Plastic Games EP, released 2020 both via the influential label , have shown his ability to produce and incorporate eclectic styles and sounds to the club genre.⠀
He recently released an album under his own name via Copenhagen label Escho, where he's exploring a world of more abstract soundscapes.⠀
As a DJ he presents sounds he's inspired by and takes us on a journey of ambient music and further on to the club.⠀
"After a long break from DJ'ing and doing mixes he felt like Starting this mix thinking about human played percussion and moved onto digital percussion and then further into the club.⠀
