#Tezpur: Tezpur Police have arrested three individuals from Samdhara Village in connection with the theft of two Jersey cows from Abul Hasim's residence. The incident occurred approximately three months ago when Umar Ali, Marfat Ali, and Ikramul Hussain allegedly stole the cows and sold them to Sahidul Islam of Borghuli Village in Nagaon district. The police was also able to apprehend a Mahindra Jeeto by the number AS 12 CC 1240.

In order to expand his operations, he has opened a firm at his house by the name M/s Ainul Haque Concrete Wall Foundation Factory, where 15 dedicated workers have been working day and night. The factory produces only construction materials required to build concrete poles and walls.
Despite the dedication of his workers, Ainul Haque finds himself compelled to break portions of the concrete walls and other designer products from his factory to showcase their quality to the cameras. He said that many a times people doubt the quality of his products and as a result the sales of his factory is facing a decline. Ainul Haque is disheartened that the hard work and dedication of his workers are not being fully recognized. Additionally, he emphasizes the challenge of providing for his family in the current circumstances.

#Tezpur: The District Administration has granted permission for the sale of firecrackers to eight commercial shops in the district, including four in Tezpur town, two in Rangapara, and two in Dhekiajuli. According to the authorised shopkeepers they are focusing more on the green crackers this year as per Supreme Court Guidelines. They are introducing a diverse range of new-age crackers in the market. However, dissatisfaction prevails among authorized sellers due to the reported unauthorized sale of firecrackers by certain individuals.
#Tezpur: The Sonitpur District Administration has issued certain guidelines for the upcoming Diwali celebrations. According to the guidelines, bursting firecrackers exceeding 125 decibels is strictly prohibited. Emphasizing eco-friendly celebrations, the administration encourages the purchase of green firecrackers manufactured in India only, restricting the use of foreign-made ones. The administration has also imposed restrictions on bursting crackers from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, emphasizing a ban within a 100-meter radius of healthcare facilities, schools, colleges, and other public institutions in the district.
#Tezpur: A lifeless wild elephant was found at Tezpur's Durung Tea Estate on the morning of 9th November. The cause of death remains unknown, yet local residents suspect that the elephant may have been pregnant. The Forest Department was informed immediately but their absence has left the public dissatisfied.

The Police arrested two individuals, Riyajul Haque and Abdul Ahmed, who were found in possession of 59 grams of suspected heroin.
