Baisakhi celebrations at various Gurudwara's of kashmir.On this day Guru Gobind Singh ji called for Sikh men who could give away their life for their faith and invited them inside a tent. Five men who chose to follow him vanished into the tent and after some time Guru Gobind Singh ji came out alone with blood on his sword. Soon, the men re-emerged wearing turbans and became the first members of the Khalsa - the Panj Pyare or beloved five. They were baptised by the Guru being sprinkled with Amrit (holy water).

Mohd Ashraf Mir, The district Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Baramulla, extended heartfelt greetings to all residents of Baramulla and his team members on the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr (Laylatul Qadr). In his message today, Mohd Ashraf Mir conveyed his warm wishes for peace, prosperity, and harmony in the region. As the holy month of Ramadan nears its conclusion, Muslims around the world observe Jumah-tul-Vida, the last Friday of Ramadan, as a day of special significance, marking it with prayers and supplications. Additionally, Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Decree or Power( Laylatul Qadr), is believed to be the night when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It holds immense spiritual significance for Muslims, who engage in prayers and seek blessings on this sacred night.
Expressing his prayers for the well-being of the community, Mohd Ashraf Mir emphasized the importance of fostering unity and understanding among people of different faiths. He highlighted the significance of these occasions as moments for reflection, gratitude, and seeking blessings for the greater good of society. In his message, Shah underscored the BJP's commitment to promoting communal harmony and inclusive development in Baramula. He reiterated the party's dedication to serving all sections of society, irrespective of religious or cultural differences.

صفا کدل میں بھانجے نے چاچا کا قتل کیا
*March 24:* ```On 24/03/2024, during early morning hours an individual namely Fayaz Ahmad Ganie, (aged 32), son of Wali Mohammad Ganie resident of Hafta Yarbal Safakadal, (butcher by profession) was brought to SMHS Hospital by his family members in an injured condition. The attending doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead upon arrival.

Preliminary investigation reveals that an altercation took place near the victim’s residence in a slaughterhouse, between one butcher namely Irfan Ahmad Ganie and his uncle namely Nisar Ahmad Ganie. The deceased Fayaz Ahmad Ganie intervened in this altercation and during the ensuing scuffle Irfan Ahmad Ganie stabbed the victim leading to his death. Acting swiftly, police arrested the accused person Irfan Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Shafi Ganie resident of Hafta Yarbal Safakadal (nephew of the victim) within hours after the incident.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 29/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Safakadal. The weapon of offence has been seized. Forensic analysis and medico-legal procedures are currently underway and further investigation is going on.```
