Clarification received from officials regarding the confusion on two orders dated: Annexure to Govt Order No.1582-JK(GAD) & Annexure to Govt Order No.1583-JK(GAD), both dated 11.12.2023. The circulating of these as separate orders led to the misunderstanding. Nawroz is a state holiday under the Negotiable Instrument Act, not a national holiday, hence the confusion.

Additionally, I've strongly advocated again with the Central and J&K administration for the recognition of 13 Rajab (Birthday of Imam Ali as) and 18 Dhul Hijjah (Eid E Ghadeer) in J&K's official holidays.
