सुकेपोखरीः युवक संघ प्राथमिक पाठशाला सुके पोखरी द्वरा वार्षिक खेलकूद कार्यक्रम पाठशाला परिसरमा आयोजना गरियो।कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथि जीटिएको सुके मानेभञ्ज्याङ समष्टि कार्यकरणी सभासद उदय देवान , बिशिष्ट अतिथि जोरबंडलो सुकेपोखरी पन्चांयत समिति सभापति सोनाम डोमा वाडदी डुक्पा, सुके सिमाना ग्राम पन्चायत प्रधान मीना थापा गुरुङ, सचिव प्रतिभा लामा पन्चांसत समिति कर्मअध्यक्ष निमा भोटिया, जिटिऐ मुख्य कार्यपालका राजनेतिक सचिव बुद्ध तामाड लगायत पाठशाला संचालन समिति सभापति पुरण छोत्री, युवक संधका सचिव फुर्बा छिरिड शेर्पा, अनुगल्य गैर लरकारी संस्थाका ट्याइटस गिरी, पाठशालाका भुतपुर्व बिध्यार्थी, अभिभावकहरूको उपस्थित रहेका थिए। विद्यार्थीहरु माझ वार्षिक खेलकुद सगै रङ्गारङ्ग सास्कृतिक कार्यक्रमहरुको बिच वार्षिक खेलकूद कार्यक्रम भव्य रुपमा सम्पन्न गरिएको थियो। फुर्बा छिरिड शेर्पा अनि शिक्षक सन्दिप बरदेवाले सयुक्त रूपमा संचालन गरेको कार्यक्रमा स्वगत सम्बोधन मार्फत पाठशालाको प्रधान अध्यपिका पासाड लमु शेर्पाले बर्षिक खेलकुद आयोजना गर्नुको उदेश्य बारे जानकारी गराए। कार्यक्रममा मुख्य अतिथि सभासद देवानले हाल सम्म पाठशालाले गरेको कार्य, प्रगति अनि उपब्लधिको सहराना गरे, समेष्ट क्षेत्रको सबै भन्दा घेरे बिध्यार्थीहरू भएको पाठशाला सगै बिध्यार्थीहरूको भौतिक बिकाशको निम्ति पनि घेरे कार्य गरिरहेको बताए। पाठशालीको बिकाश अनि संरक्षणको निम्ति सबैले सहयोग पुराउनु पर्ने बताए। कार्यक्रममा पन्चांयत प्रधान गुरूडले पाठशालाले गरिरेको कार्य अनि प्रगति सगा नानीहरूको शैक्षिक, शाररिक बिकाशको निम्ति चलाईरहेको पहलको सहराना गरे। पाठशाला अनि आयोजक समितिको तर्फबाट कार्यक्रम मा सहयोग पुराउने सबैलाई प्रधान अघ्यापिका शेर्पाले घन्यवाद ज्ञापन गरे।

Bangladeshi Court Denies Bail to Prominent Hindu Leader Chinmoy Krishna Das

A court has sent Chinmoy Krishna Das, a prominent figure in Bangladesh's Hindu community and affiliated with the ISKCON temple, to jail after rejecting his bail plea.

On Tuesday, November 26, he was presented in court concerning a sedition case filed at Chittagong's Kotwali Police Station. The 38-year-old faces charges under Sections 120(B), 124(A), 153(A), 109, and 34 of the Bangladesh Penal Code. Metropolitan Magistrate Qazi Shariful Islam ordered his imprisonment. Protests have erupted in Dhaka and other cities in Bangladesh since his arrest. Das's lawyers claim he has been arrested on baseless and conspiratorial charges.

Background of the Incident
According to BBC Bangla, a sedition case was registered against Chinmoy Krishna Das and 18 others at Chittagong’s Kotwali Police Station. He is accused of disrespecting the national flag in the New Market area of Chittagong on October 25.

Rana Dasgupta, a leader of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council, called the charges false, stating, "The flag in question was not Bangladesh’s national flag. It was a flag with four stripes, not the national symbol. The government is attempting to suppress minority voices with false accusations."

Meanwhile, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Youth and Sports Ministry in Bangladesh’s interim government, stated that Das would face severe consequences if found guilty of sedition.

Protests and Support
Following Das’s arrest, protests broke out in Dhaka and other cities. Demonstrators are demanding his release, with many videos circulating on social media. The Sanatan Jagaran Mancha, which Das represents, has called for nationwide protests.

Who is Chinmoy Krishna Das?
Das is the president of ISKCON’s Pundarik Dham in Chittagong. Recently, the Sanatan Jagaran Mancha and another organization merged to form the Bangladesh Sanatan Jagaran Jot, where he serves as spokesperson. Since August, after Sheikh Hasina’s government fell, he has been leading rallies protesting alleged attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.

International Response
ISKCON has condemned the arrest, stating on social media, "ISKCON worldwide has no association with terrorism, and such baseless allegations are offensive. We urge the Indian government to intervene."

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has also demanded Das’s release, calling the arrest undemocratic and inhumane. The organization criticized global indifference and urged the Bangladeshi government to protect human rights.

Indian Government’s Statement
India’s Ministry of External Affairs expressed deep concern over the incident, highlighting ongoing attacks on Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. The ministry condemned the arrest and called for the protection of minority rights.

What is Constitution Day?

Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated on 26th November every year in India. This day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949. It officially came into effect on 26th January 1950, a day we now celebrate as Republic Day.

The Constitution is the supreme law of India and represents the foundation of the country’s democratic framework, ensuring justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for all its citizens.
