Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple: is an ancient temple of said to be built in 11-12th Century, lord Shiva is main deity of this temple. Juma Masjid Kallega:- It is said that about 300 years ago Tippu Sultan the ruler of Mysore who was fighting against the British took procession of Puttur Area.
