PASIGHAT, APRIL-28:

The Bogong Banggo Yameng Kebang led by its President Shri. Magyar Lego inspected the Littering portion of Forest Reserved Area near Gidi Notko where Dead Infant Babies are hanged out into the Trees with the use of bucket which makes a bad look and also it gives a significant disintegration image.

While urging the Public, he appealed not to litter the place again and requested everyone that any such things should be immediately taken to the graveyard at 21 mile near Jarku.
Besides further memorandum was also submitted to the concerned District Magistrate and urged that if any person fails to comply with the order necessary action against them.

PASIGHAT, MARCH- 18:

The Boggong Banggo Yameng Kebang (BBYK) has led by its President Shri. Makyar Lego, General Secretary Shri.Miro Dai,
Finance Secretary Shri. Kangkiram Tamut and Spokeperson Shri. Dangki Ering met the Superintendent of Police (S.P) East Siang and submitted a Memorandum for the Welfare of the Pasighat Township as a whole.

The Memorandum submitted includes points like Removal of Exhaust Pipes Fitted in Bikes and Cars, Proper management of traffic flow and check & balance of illegal immigrants.
The Memorandum submitted by the BBYK is well appreciated by every public as most of the Bikes and Cars fitted with exhaust Pipes makes loud noise besides it also disturbs the mentality and peaceful environment.

While pointing to the traffic flow, Pasighat is becoming a new hub in terms of town development under Smart City due to which the large numbers of vehicle flows during daytime as such there is disturbance in traffic at the busy places like Market and hospital where manpower of Traffic department is much needed for controlling of traffic and arrangement of vehicle parking.

The BBYK led by its President while welcoming the New Superintendent of Police hope that under his administration the Memorandum would be considered as top most priority, Besides while responding to the Memorandum the SP said that he would look into matter for the General interest of the Public as a whole.

As the Season of Cricket would be in high mode with the Gentleman's Game will be back once again on the field for the Lovers, East Siang Cricketing Association for Banggos and Clubs is organizing the 2nd Edition of Late Oyop Tayeng Memorial Cricket Tournament after a Gap of 18 Years.

The East Cricketing Association for Banggos and Clubs (ESCA) has taken this historical Tournament once again for the Youngstars and Cricket Lovers to Show their talent on the field. Late Oyop Tayeng is the Mother of Shri. Lombo Tayeng, Honourable MLA of 39th Mebo Assembly Constituency and in whose name Tournament would be Conducted.

The ESCA President Shri.Kangkim Lego informed that the main motives for Conducting this Tournament is to Give the aspirations of Keeping Body fit and also paving the Youth with the Motto '' Say No to Drugs, Yes to Sports. He further informed that the Organising Chairman Is Shri. Biswajit Tayeng and Shri. Samuel Moyong as the Secretary.

Further the President also informed that the Game would be of T20 Format and the Rules would be undertaken as that of ICC Rules.

Smeared O***m Seized By Lohit Police.

TEZU, MARCH:1

The Lohit Police arrested o***m supplier and an addicted person as based on information was received from source that illicit trafficking of some band narcotics substances is going on at the civil supply colony of Makailiang road and reported to have been concealed in a Government Quarter. On receiving the information a Police team consisting of Inspr. D. Singpho, SI Haroon Jugli and other staff of Tezu PS along with an executive magistrate Mr. A. Modi under the supervision & direction of Sr SP Lohit, Shri T Amo, IPS, raided the spot and recovered the following. from the possession/ house of Smty Sobamlu Kri :-

(1). 2.165 Kg smeared O***m
(2). 315 gm used smeared O***m clothes,
(3) Plastic Jars containing dried chopped banana leaves for preparing O***m for smoking -13 Nos.
(4). Plastic Poch meant for packing small quantities of O***m for sale to retail customers - 2 packets.
(5). Sale proceeds Rs 18,080/ cash

(6)Instruments used for preparing O***m for consumption
(i). Plastic Jars,
(ii). O***m smoking pipe/Hukka)-9 Nos.
(iii). Wooden fans
(iv). Brass spun used for preparing o***m for consumption -2 Nos
(v). Tongs small and big 4 Nos.
(vi). Jute sack role used for smearing o***m - 6 Nos.

Accordingly Tezu/PS-Case No.21/2024 U/S-17(c)/27(b) NDPS Act has been registered for further investigation. In this connection Smty Soblamlu Kri and another addict Shri Karimso Mepo Age 24 years have been arrested from the spot. . Efforts on for more seizures.

Congress members from 37th Pasighat-West Resign.

RUKSIN , February 29:

All ranks and files of Block Congress Committee (BCC) of 37th-Pasighat West (Ruksin) block in East Siang district on Thursday assembled in a meeting at Ngorlung village and took unanimous decision of en-block resignation from their respective portfolios and INC's primary membership.

Thus, the BCC's General Secretary Takir Paron, District Joint Secretary Tapi Tali and Vice President Nalo Tasing, Block Youth Congress President Tayem Taki, Block Mohila President Kekeng Tarang and other members have left their party membership.

The decision for en-mass resignation of the BCC members was taken after their leader, former Pasighat-West MLA Ninong Ering had joined BJP.

The BCC members led by Arong Perme (president) have quitted the party to support Ering, who is all set to re-contest the assembly seat in the forthcoming election on BJP ticket.

It may be recalled that a team of APCC leaders led by their Vice-president Mina Toko conducted a party meeting at Ruksin and announced that INC would field candidates to contest Pasighat-West assembly seat in the forthcoming election.

But, the en-block resignation of Congressmen on the eve of election notification has given a strong jolt to the INC party.

SIC arrests Junior Engineer in corruption charges, The first break through in the State.

ITANAGAR, FEBRUARY:3-

In a Shocking and the most turning event, SIC arrested a Junior Engineer of Public Works Department(Western Zone) in charges of corruption for taking bribe. The arrested person namely Shri. Chandra Kumar Singh, aged 58 was found accepting bribe for renewal of a Firm Licence of Shri. Nabam Tangu. The SIC has initiated the action based on the complaint given by the Firm Licence owner.
As it is the first ever case taken in bribery many such more are hiding behind the background with the support of living under Politically involved personality.

The SIC must work more harder to catch such big fish as many such are there and the case must be taken up without any pressure from the Politicians.

The 3rd Edition of TRB (The Ratan Brothers) Cricket Begins, Defending Champion Siang Riders thrashed The Knights by 108 Runs.

KIYIT, JANUARY-14:

In much rejoice and enthusiasm for the Cricket Lovers, the 3rd Edition of The Ratan Brothers [TRB] T20 Cricket Tournament began here at Kiyit. The Match was declared opened by Shri. Lombo Tayeng, Hon'ble MLA 39th Mebo Assembly Constituency attended as Chief Guest followed by Smti. Oter Tayeng, ZPM (Mebo Banggo-2) as Guest of Honour, Shri. Oyar Tabing, Headmaster, Government Secondary School, Kiyit as Special Guest, Gaon Buras and host of dignitaries.

While Welcoming the Guest Shri. Biswajit Tayeng, Organising Chairman thanked all the joining team members and also the players and senior members of the Kiyit Village. He further stated that the main motives of the Cricket and its theme is "Say no to Drugs, Choose sports and maintain healthier for body fitness, besides he explained the role for positive cooperation from all.

The Chief Guest, Shri. Lombo Tayeng in his speech has urged the youths to take up the sports activities and became the part of making the nation proud and also stated the youths to keep away themselves from drugs and other ill substances. He was also happy on learning that the youths who once consumed drugs are now participating in the Cricket Tournament for better physical and body wellness.
The Opening Ceremony showed Colourful cultural performance by Kiyit Raseng and also Kids from Kiine Nane School was the part of the Game as they walked with the players.

In the Opening ceremony Match, Defending Champion Siang Riders Defeated The Knights by a Huge Margin of 108 Runs.
Winning the Toss The Knights field first, While Siang Riders Batting first Set the Target of 262 in alloted 20 Overs. Both the openers of Siang Riders, Shri.Arun Tayeng Scored 133 Runs and Miloko Darang scored 100 Runs for the team.
The Man of the Match Award went to Shri.Arun Tayeng for his Brilliant knock of 133 Runs and picking 1 Wicket.
