What Are We Making?
Film Synopsis:
In the setting of an art school, a live painting session takes a dark turn when students mock an undraped model, reflecting societal attitudes toward women. Unbeknownst to them, the model undergoes a mysterious transformation, her skin turning black, symbolizing the corrosive impact of objectification. As tension escalates, the model becomes Kaali, embodying the darkness women endure in a society tainted by harassment. The students confront their actions, forced to reassess societal norms. "Kaali" is a short film exploring the intersection of art, societal attitudes, and women's empowerment, leaving viewers with a haunting reflection on the consequences of objectification and the potential for transformation through empathy.

THE REGULAR FUNDRAISERS BY PEOPLE’S TALKIES WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MANY MORE UPCOMING CINEMAS FROM THE CITY!
