to steal the quivering light
New revolutions evolved
as network sewed a digital web
The storm was raging
It was a battle
With feathers ruffled
and the ink fading
Was the print faltering?
the strength still dimmed
unwilling to leave yet
With the last of soldiers
the print was brittle
The digital sorcery brewing
the impending was inevitable
Like a volatile volcano
the flames raged
the sparks stung
The strength fell
the glory surrendered
The truth was change
the choice binary
To perish
or to evolve.
This piece of work is a conceptual collaboration of design, makeup, modeling, photography, and poetry. The theme of this piece is to artistically showcase the demise of print media through the four elements of nature which is water, wind, fire and earth chronologically. The unconventional use of materials such as newspaper and magazines shapes the costume which acts as a direct reference to print media. The natural setup use for the photography brings in the element of nature which is linked together by the model and the narration.

New revolutions evolved
