Firstly they're hiring the delivery agents without verifying the documents of their vehicles, and then if any of the employee asks for the resignation they're deducting money as fine.
Same happened with one of the employees who shared the voice clip he further explained that;
I was working at the and I've not signed any contract papers as i was not asked instead of which, when i resigned from the office in i hired a delivery agent in place of mine.....still they deducted money from my salary as fine.....and now itz when I'm asking them to return my documents the station manager viz is clearly refusing to return my documents.....is this the way to treat the employees.........

Landslide hits gypsum mine area in Ramban; 2 rescued
Police identified the injured JCB machine operator as Ajiz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Sharif, resident of Bhattni tehsil and district Ramban and the driver of (dumper) tipper Anil Singh, son of Suram, resident of Udhampur

They said that a landslide was reported near Parlanka Gypsum mine due to which a tipper, bearing registration number JK02C J-3673, and an excavator came under debris and heavy boulders.

Man allegedly kills mother-in-law in Srinagar, held: Official

A man allegedly killed his mother-in-law in Botakadal area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Sunday.

Quoting official sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that an information was received by Lalbazar police that one lady identified as Saleema wife of Late Mohd Qasim resident of Gulshan bagh, Botakadal was assaulted by her resident Son-in-law identified as Shabir Ahmad Bhat S/o Abdul Salam Bhat originally hailing from Pattan, resulting in on spot death of lady. In this regard case under FIR No 45/ 2023 u/s 302 IPC was registered in Lalbazar police station, they said. During the course of investigation the accused Shabir Ahmad Bhat, who was evading arrest, was apprehended and formally arrested in the instant case.

LPG cylinder rates revised on 1st April. Check cooking gas prices city-wise

Today is the first day of the fiscal year 2024 and the government has revised the prices of LPG gas cylinders. On 1st April the prices of cooking gas have been slashed by around ₹92. However, the reduction of rates is only for commercial gas cylinder users. There has been no revision of price for domestic LPG gas customers. The rates of 14.2 kg gas cylinders remain the same as last month. Last month, the Centre raised the prices of domestic cooking gas by ₹50.

Notably, the government in March had raised the prices of the commercial gas cylinder by ₹350 and now on Saturday, there has been a reduction of ₹92.

Unlike domestic LPG cylinders, the rates of commercial gas keep on fluctuating. On 1 April 2022, a 19kg commercial gas cylinder was available at ₹2,253 in Delhi.

And today, the prices have been slashed to rs 2,028. In the past one year, the rates of the commercial gas cylinder have been reduced by ₹225 only in Delhi.

Separately, the government announced a subsidy on domestic LPG gas cylinders to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) scheme.

Last month, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that 9.59 crore beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana will get a subsidy of ₹200 on every 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinder per year. The Centre has capped the refill limit to 12 times a year.

CBSE warns schools against starting academic session before April 1
The warning by the CBSE comes after several schools commenced their academic session, especially for Classes 10 and 12.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has warned schools against starting the academic session before April 1, saying it poses the risk of causing anxiety and burnout among students.

"It has been noticed that some of the affiliated schools have started their academic session quite early in the year. Attempting to complete an entire year's worth of course work in a reduced timeframe poses risks for students who may get overwhelmed and struggle to keep up with the pace of learning, leading to anxiety and burnout," CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said in an official order.

Security forces arrested a militant in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district and seized arms and ammunition from his possession, police said on Tuesday.

Based on a specific input regarding the presence of a militant at Madina Bagh Moh
The militant was identified as Owais Ahmad Mir, a resident of War Mohalla Gund Brat, police said.

During search, incriminating materials, arms and ammunition, including a 9mm pistol, eight (9mm) rounds, a pistol magazine and a Chinese gr***de were recovered.

Udhampur court sentences man to 2-year RI in attempt to r**e case
JAMMU: A Jammu and Kashmir court on Tuesday sentenced a man to two-year rigorous imprisonment in an attempt to r**e case.
Considering "the material on record as well as the facts and circumstances", Udhampur principal district and session judge Haq Nawaz Zargar held the convict — Tirath Ram alias Babu Ram — guilty and convicted him of the commission of offence, with a fine of Rs 3,000.
The court observed that the convict "has been found guilty of outraging the modesty of the prosecutrix", which is not a fit case to release him under Section 562 of the CrPC or under the Probation of Offenders' Act.

*5-yr-old girl dies in Kulgam accident*

Kulgam, Feb 24 : A five-year-old girl was killed after she was hit by an unknown vehicle at Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday, officials said.

An official told that an unknown vehicle hit a five year old girl identified as Zahira Jan, daughter of Mohammad Younis Shah at her native village in DK Marg, D H Pora.

She was critically wounded and was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and a hunt has been launched to nab the driver involved.

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has halted the anti-encroachment drive that snowballed into a major controversy. The drive has already evicted thousands of people who had been cultivating and residing on government land.

Bulldozers were used to remove encroachments of 20 Lakh kanals (2.5 lakh acres) of land across 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Besides retrieving land, many structures have been demolished
