The planet Earth is the only planet in the whole solar system as well as perhaps in the whole Universe, which has an environment for existence of life. If this environment is polluted or spoiled or somehow depleted of its essential components, all life including human life will be extinct. Since the industrial revolution of the 18th century, the development that confirmed to fulfill the necessitie
s of life and also the greed of “A section of people” caused continuous growth of agriculture and industrial production together with rapid growth of human population in this planet. Since growth of production causes growth of waste and generates pollution and depletes natural resources like ground water, minerals, forests, bio-diversity etc. Unlimited growth of production and population is not possible on this planet. Most of the social evils of today like oppression, poverty, hunger, crime, violence, local & international war are also caused by population & production growth. The aim of the environmental movement today is to attain sustainable development by controlling greed of mankind for unlimited affluence as well as unlimited population growth especially in the developing countries. The aim of this magazine is to spread the idea of sustainable development to save the mankind and life on this planet from extinction.
