इस्लामी कैलेंडर के सबसे पवित्र माने जाने वाले महीने रमजान का चांद बुधवार (22 मार्च) को भारत में नजर नहीं आया. अब जुमे को पहला रोजा होगा. जुमा 24 मार्च को है. लखनऊ के फरंगी महल की मरकजी चांद कमेटी ने जानकारी दी है कि बुधवार को चांद नजर नहीं आया है, इसलिए पहली रमजानुल मुबारक 24 मार्च 2023 को होगी. इससे पहले उम्मीद जताई जा रही थी कि 22 मार्च को चांद दिखने पर 23 को पहला रोजा रखा जाएगा.

*Kishtwar Police frozen Bank Accounts Involved In Drug Trafficking Case*

```While continuing the investigation of case 20/2023 U/sec. 8/21/22 NDPS Act which was registered at PS Kishtwar. Police have identified financial transitions of drug trafficking having accused namely Mohd Iqbal Khanday S/o Bashir Ahmed Khanday R/o Thakrie AP Ward No 10 Shaktinagar Kishtwar with suppliers and other consumers and accordingly 03 bank accounts have been frozen in which dubious transitions were reported. Besides one motorcycle bearing registration No. JK14F-3365 used for bringing drugs from Jammu has also been seized.

More action is likely against other paddlers & consumers in near future. Police are aggressively working on the involvement of other narcotic syndicates so that the innocent youth of Kishtwar and its surrounding areas could be saved from the menace of drug addiction.```
