We have just received alarming news of a massive fire incident in Tachana Village, which has severely affected the entire village.
We urgently appeal to the District Administration and Block Administration to immediately deploy fire and disaster management teams to control the situation and prevent further damage.
We also appeal to all the people of Dachhan to come forward, reach village Tachana, and extend all possible support to the affected families during this extremely difficult time.

Shri Bhajan Das Ji Mugdam (Shopkeeper),
son of Late Shri Jan Mugdam Ji, resident of Upper Janakpur, father of Shri Bhadri Nath Ji and Shri Vinod Kumar Ji (Teacher). He passed away on 26/12/2025 after a prolonged illness. The last rites will be performed today, 27/12/2025, at Dachan.
May the Almighty grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sad demise of Smt. Krishni Devi, Wife of Sh. Shamboo Nath (Retd. CWC) and the loving mother of Sh. Saroop Kumar and Sh. Bansi Lal, Resident of Lopara, Dachhan, presently residing at Jammu. She left for her heavenly abode today. The cremation will be held today at Jogi Gate, Jammu at 1:00 PM.

May the Almighty grant peace to the departed soul and give courage to the grieving family during this time of sorrow.

Road Accident in Dachhan: One Dead, Two Injured

Today at around 1330 hrs, a Tata Sumo (JK17-2897) travelling from Danrashi toward Sounder met with a tragic accident. As per local sources, the vehicle skidded off the road near Krousa Nalla and plunged 30–40 meters down the slope.

In the mishap, one young man lost his life:

Rizwan Ahmad, 19
S/o Farooq Ahmad Mangnoo
R/o Sagarna, Sounder

Two others sustained injuries:

Museeb Ahmed, 18
S/o Mohd. Rafi Mangnoo
R/o Sagarna

Moshin Ahmed, 20
S/o Mohd. Yousuf Mangnoo
R/o Sagarna

According to sources, both injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar for further treatment. Local authorities and residents reached the spot immediately after the incident.

With profound grief, we inform the sad demise of Sh. Bej Nath Rana, father of Rajinder Kumar Rana and Ashwani Kumar Rana, R/O Prangus Dachhan (presently Patoli Brahmana, Jammu). He left for his heavenly abode today, 27-11-2025, at around 6:00 PM.
May the departed soul rest in eternal peace, and may the almighty grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The cremation will be held at Bantalab Cremation Ground, Jammu, on 28-11-2025 at 2:00 PM.
All are requested to attend and offer their final respects.
