Two persons impersonating themselves as IPS officer, Inspector arrested by Jammu Police
Jammu police have arrested two fake police officers in Jammu who were impersonating as a Police Inspector and an Indian Police Officer (IPS) officer.

Both the accused have been arrested from a hotel in Jewel area of Jammu.

SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli said that a complaint was lodged at PS Nowabad by one person stating that two persons who were portraying themselves as IPS officer and Inspector were threatening him.

In his complaint, the victim person had stated that he met a person namely Kaiser Jeelani on a social networking site who portrayed himself as IPS officer and he became friend with that person and finally he met him in Hotel Green Mint Gumat near Fish Market.

On entering the room he saw Kaiser Jeelani and one more person in Police uniform with stars who portrayed himself as Inspector after which Kaiser Jeelani who told him that they both are in NIA.

The duo threatened him to give them his laptop and on this context they were harassing him.

The complainant was further threatened by the two men of putting him in lockup if he fails to follow their words and that they even can shoot him.

In this regard a case FIR NO. 166/2023 U/S 419/420/384/170/171 IPC got registered at PS Nowabad and investigation was started.

In investigation of the case, special police teams of PS Nowabad led by SP Kulbir Handa, DySP HQrs Dr. Sunniya Wani assisted by SHO PS Nowabad Surinder Raina did strenuous efforts and finally arrested accused from the said place.

Accused arrested were identified as Kaiser Shahnawaz Mir resident of Danger Pora Baramulla
And Mohd Tanveer alias Arif Wani resident of Sopore Baramulla.

Further investigation of the case is going on.

Failure of adminstration to provide transparent recruitment policy:NAUP
National Awami United Party President Sandeep Singh criticize the LG administration on the issue of unemployment as we have entered into fifth years as UT status of Jammu and Kashmir but administration is giving only assurance of employment. Even yesterday LG Manoj Sinha issue order for the recruitment in sports category.
NAUP also criticize the administration not to solve the issue of SI, JE and FAA recruitment even not giving the solution for further recruitment as the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are going over age but administration is giving assurance for next and next month.
NAUP President asked the adminstration to give concrete solution of recruitment for youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Also criticize the policy for the recruitment agencies which are hired from outside but after the recruitment process the aspirants gone for court stay and further cases due to the lack of transparency.
Manmohan Sudan General secretary of National Awami United Party appeals the adminstration for the transparent process for recruitment. As the people of Jammu and Kashmir are expecting after getting the status of UT that now time has come for our youth will get jobs after completing their education but government is fail on all fronts to provide jobs on every years basis so that our youth will not be over aged.
Shakti Uppal State secretary criticize the adminstration for making Liquor policy but not making the policy for jobs to our youth as LG administration is busy in other process to nurturing their officers but not the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Slogan for Naya Jammu and Kashmir has destroy in the hands of bureaucracy of Jammu and Kashmir.
