16/03/2022 today at about 4-30 pm a joint Naka was set up at Khatkhati infront of SBI Bank along with 7th AR and 5th AR Dimapur and during the search of a bus bearing registration no. NL07B 0385 recovered two factory made .32 pistol along with two nos. Magazine and two set of walki talkie from a wooden apple box kept in a black color bag. The owner of the bag have not boarded the bus. The bus was destined to Mon district . Regards

The Nagaland Police Headquarter celebrated the International Women’s Day at PHQ on 08.03.2022 along with rest of the world on the theme “Gender Equality for a Sustainable Tomorrow’. The senior officers and women police personnel attended the occasion. The special guest speaker of the programme was Dr. Rosemary Dzüvichü (Advisor Naga Mothers Association). In her speech, she exhorted the participants to fight for the rights and strive to bring gender equality in the society. During the programme, the special guest along with senior officers of PHQ released a booklet on ‘SOPs for Crime Against Women’. Altogether six (6) women staffs were felicitated during the programme namely, (i) Smt. Orenboni Kikon, Asstt. OS, Branch-I, PHQ, (ii) Ms. Sedevinuo Sokha, UDA, INT, (iii) Ms. Kekhriesenuo Chuse, LDA, Branch-III, PHQ, (iv) Ms. Adono Kent, UBSI, INT, (v) Smt. Lanurenla, Computer Operator, SCRB, PHQ, (vi) Smt. Metsiseno, WPC, Cyber Crime PS, PHQ.
