We are dedicated to creating content which instigates conversations, widens perspectives and connects the disjointed lives we live today. Tuning Fork Films strength lies in in-depth research and the ability to draw interconnections between various phenomena. Our work is spread over the confluence of two streams – creating films and facilitating filmmaking workshops. It looks to use film fundamenta

lly, as a tool for social change by making films and creating filmmakers! Tuning Fork Film Workshops are about learning how to make films with minimum resources, how to get creative in filmmaking and above all how to evaluate the relevance of what one wants to convey through this powerful and captivating medium. Ankit Pogula, who facilitates these workshops, is an Independent Documentary Filmmaker based out of Delhi. He now shuttles between Delhi and a farm campus in Chattisgarh. He has been making films and conducting film workshops with different youth groups and organisations such as DFID, TERI, Tata Communications, Tata Trusts, British Council, Pravah etc.

Neelkanth mama and the kurbas ensure their sheep are fed a rich diet of 26 diverse grasses. This not only keeps them healthy, but also enriches their dung and makes it the best fertiliser, maintaining a chain of cyclicity and coexistence.

In this excerpt, watch Mama talk about these grasses and their significance.

A glimpse of the kurbā worldview!

In an excerpt from Herd Walk, a story about the magnificent kurbās (nomadic shepherds), Neelkanth mama takes us through the benefits of using deccani wool. Not only is the quality far superior to that of synthetic wool, but it is also born out of a cycle of sustainability, keeping alive the connection between nature and mankind.
