A journey from 10th pass to 12th pass

Forty-two-year-old, V.Hari Krishnan, is elated to announce that he has passed his 12th this year with flying colours. Showing his mark sheet he informs, “I calculated the aggregates of all my family members' 12th results and I am surprised to notice that I have surpassed them all!” Indeed the difference is stark!
Hari had to discontinue his studies, while in 8th grade, due to financial difficulties at home. Later he enrolled for a tutorial class to attempt 10th std and successfully passed it in 1997.

To Commemorate World Book Day ‘Bharathi Puthakalayam’ launched a Book Fair at Perungudi Vallalar Sanmargam Arangam on April 23. It will be functioning till May 2, from 10 am to 9.30 pm.

A drawing competition is also being held here for children aged 3 to 10 (any theme) and for children aged 11 to 18 (Theme - characters from any book). They will be awarded participation certificates and also prizes.
