કારકિર્દી અને બંધારણ વિષે એક ગોષ્ઠી કરી...✍️
10મા અને 12મા ધોરણમાં પાસ થયેલ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તેમજ સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓની તૈયારી કરનારા ઉમેદવારો અને તેમના વાલીઓ સાથે સંવાદ કરવાની તક મળી. પ્રયત્ન કર્યો કે કારકિર્દી વિશેની જે જાણકારી મને સમયસર મળી તે જાણકારી આ યુવાનોને પણ સમયસર મળે... અને સાથે તેઓ આપણા બંધારણથી પરિચિત થાય...

It was once called IMPERIAL BANK OF INDIA. A great economist, John Maynard Keynes was the brain behind its formation. It was a quasi-central bank for some time.
It doesn’t take much to ruin the legacy. SBI has proved that.
The details on electoral bonds that could have been readily made available, were repeatedly denied by SBI with silly excuses.
Finally, truth prevailed. SBI lost its credibility.
This doesn’t have political implications alone, it has financial implications too.

When we think outside the box, we don’t realise that it’s still inside some larger box.

ફેસબુકે આજે 13 વર્ષ પહેલાંનો સમય યાદ કરાવી દીધો. 2010-11ના વર્ષોમાં હું UPSCની તૈયારી માટે દિલ્હી હતો. સિવિલ સર્વિસીસ પરીક્ષામાં પહેલો પ્રયત્ન 2011માં જ કરવાનો હતો.
2-3 વર્ષમાં નોકરીઓ પ્રત્યેનું આકર્ષણ ઓસરવા માંડ્યુ અને ભણાવવાના કામ પ્રત્યે લગન લાગી. ધીરે-ધીરે એ મારું વ્યક્તિત્વ બનતું ચાલ્યું. પણ હું કહીશ કે UPSCની તૈયારી એ જીવનના સૌથી સુંદર અને અગત્યના અનુભવો પૈકીનો એક છે. એ ન હોત તો આજે હું જેવો છું એવો ન હોત.
દૂરના શહેર જવું, ત્યાં ટકી રહેવું, એ ઘણું બધું શીખવી જાય છે. સાહસ વધે છે. દિલ્હીમાં ભારતભરથી આવેલા લોકો સાથે રહેતાં-રહેતાં જાણે આખું ભારત તમારી અંદર સમાઈ જાય છે. અમારા સોશ્યોલોજીના સર કહેતાં કે દિલ્હી મેં કોઈ દિલ્હી કા નહિ હૈ. ખરા અર્થમાં વૈવિધ્યસભર ભારતનો હિસ્સો હોવાનો અહેસાસ થાય છે. વિચારવાની સીમા તૂટે એવા પ્રસંગો બને છે.
આવા અનુભવ, મારા અંગત મતે ગુજરાતમાં મળવા મુશ્કેલ છે. ગુજરાતના વાતાવરણમાં, અહીં થતી પરીક્ષાઓની તૈયારીમાં હજુ એ કસર વર્તાય છે. મારા ઘડતરમાં દિલ્હી એક યાદગાર પડાવ બની રહેશે. UPSCની આ તૈયારી, પરીક્ષાની તૈયારી કરતાં વધુ, જીવનની તૈયારી સાબિત થાય છે.
