We are two Swedish chicks that have been living in Tel Aviv for some years now, and we have a few things in common: we are both tall and blonde, we love sweets, we moved here for reasons other than being Jewish (because neither one of us are), we fell in love with the city, and we have a passion for writing. Also, we are both at a point in our lives where we feel it’s time to start something new,
so we decided to start an online magazine, sharing our unique perspective of the city that has captured us both. Tel Aviv Blender is an online magazine in English for locals, immigrants, as well as for tourists. We aim not to be the typical “magazine for foreigners”, but to offer something real, accessible and entertaining, that will connect different communities to each other and to the city. Sure, we will keep you updated on what’s going on in this bustling city, recommend places to go and things to do, but we will also bring you helpful tips and survival guides (especially for those of you who are new here - we know what you’re going through!), and share our own thoughts and experiences. Tel Aviv Blender is for regular people just like us, and we want to help everyone experience the city in a real way by going beyond life in bars, restaurants and on the beach. We want it to be a magazine for everyone, reflecting the huge variety of people and cultures living in this bubble we all call home.
