Before we run headfirst into 2022 we wanted to spend the next few days looking back on some of the highlights of 2021!
The Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) hold a very special place in our hearts here at Windmill Lane. It's incredible to see such a celebration of homegrown talent year after year.
IFTA 2021 ended up even more exciting for us, as Smother landed a whopping 11 nominations, including a Best Sound nod for our team!
Completed in the height of the Lockdown, the sound team, spearheaded by Fionan O'Higgins, Mark Henry, & Andy Kirwan, managed to capture the beauty of the wild Atlantic locations used throughout the series, all the while adapting to a new remote workflow. We cannot wait to hear what they can do in Season 2!
