The New Rochelle DRAFT of Flag Policy (linked) is now public, and will be discussed at 4/9/24 City Council Meeting. After the controversy over the Israeli flag, it was agreed to shift authority from the City Manager to City Council. Notably, the proposed policy allows for displaying foreign flags ON or ABOVE City-owned buildings and property which Shane, the NewRo folks and other Yadira and David Peters supporters said was illegal (the ON buildings part). Shane also said he opposed display of ANY foreign flag. So, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. All good questions from @DenisePWard about Sara Kaye who has illegally withheld city emails, used appeals to lawyers to stonewall record production, hid city emails on her personal Gmail account and was up to things I find exceedingly strange with her husband’s work email address. David Kaye, a partner at @RopesGray, leads his law firm’s initiative in Environmental, Social, & Governance which correlates to the now nullified Sustainable Westchester contracts involving Sara Kaye and Noam Bramson. The IT department identified 250 emails to/from @RopesGray but the City has yet to produce them. Having been “convicted” of multiple ethics violations there is no reason to give the morally flexible councilwoman the benefit of the doubt on emails involving she and her husband.

Here is a very strange dude with very strange ideas on ethics and the SUSTAINED charges against Noam Bramson and Sara Kaye. "Whatever things Mr. Cox digs up to harass us with are not helpful to the City, they're harmful." Only a kook or crook would claim it is HARMFUL to expose unethical and illegal conduct by city officials. 🤔
