A fantastic evening at this event

What a fabulous night we had celebrating St Brigid’s Day here at the Jackie Clarke Collection, it was standing room only in our Irelands Memory room as we unveiled the beautiful St Brigid’s Cloak. The cloak, a community project run by our dear friends from the Ballina Costume Company involved crafters of all ages from all parts of our community. Their talent and dedicated hard work in creating this incredible garment was truly inspiring. The cloak was blessed by Fr Aidan O’Boyle and the Revd Clive Moore before being placed on display. It will remain on display at the collection today and tomorrow, from 10am until 5pm. Keep an eye on our social media pages over the coming days for more photographs and a very special film of this amazing event!
