「追跡」有尋根究底、追查真相的意思，透過多角度批判，了解事件發展的來龍去脈。靈感源自菲林沖曬過程，每一張彩色照片均需要由四種顏色底片組成，各底片組合一起才能呈現出完整畫面。有如新聞事件發生後，記者隨着線索逐層揭露最底層的真相。

This year, the theme of Journalism and Communication Festival "追跡" will be about how media workers do an in-depth report to publish accurate news to public. It is every journalist’s responsibility to trace down the roots of occurring social issues, and document every detail happened.

Therefore, via this year's Journalism and Communication Festival, we hope to find out how media workers corporate and conduct an in-depth investigation in Hong Kong’s social issue.
